Hello! My name is Andrea, you may also call me Andy (for short) I've been a CNA since 2008. What's helped me enjoy my career more than anything is my residents & families. I consider everyone I have got the pleasure of taking care of like extra grandparents and I couldn't thank their families enough for sharing them with me. I've been trained & also have worked with Alzheimer's, & dementia. My grandmother whom I took care of for a couple years also had this disease. I've been trained on hoyer lifts many times. Also I've been educated on puree foods, thicken liquids & mechanical soft. I have a family of 2 of which I absolutely adore. My 13 yr old son & 1 yr old little girl. They keep me busy when I'm not working our summers consist of baseball games, swimming & learning something new everyday.

A good caregiver is patient, flexible, and has empathy and compassion. Those are exact reasons why I knew I wanted to take care of people! At a very young age I realize that I always wanted to help people. From taking care of younger siblings to my grandpa when he got sick. I love providing companionship to my patients and assuring their safety with lots of tender loving care. I have 6 years of experience as a live-in and day care provider for my patients with Parkinson's disease, osteoporosis, disabilities and other illnesses including wound care. This has been with compassion, honesty, integrity, responsibility and tender loving care. My duties included light housekeeping, laundry, cooking, shopping, running errands, doctor appointments and just being a good companion. I have excellent references. I have my own car.
