Well I always say the good lord made me for this I have a big heart my residents always called me smiley which I try to always keep know matter how I may feel .I love the elderly there stories just putting a smile on there face ..Well the girls woukd cone get me if they couldn't understand someone because I could just knowing I helped someone and made there day better was always a good day for me .

I always make great food for my clients and I also do arts and crafts that I supply myself! My great grandma has many health conditions and I help here often. Taking care of others has always been my nature. My brother was handicapped, so I grew up taking care of him a lot. That led to many other jobs helping and taking care of others who had special needs. I enjoy taking care of and helping or just hanging or playing a game or making a puzzle with those I give care to. It's a very gratifying feeling Well I produced and hosted a television show for three years on the PBC . I used to take care of my grandmother when I was a young teenager. I got my CNA in 2011 the year I graduated high school and let them run out but always have did home care since. I was a nurse aid for around 11 years at several different nursing homes. I started doing caregiving when my grandpa moved in with my parents. In 2018 my mother got diagnosed with Parkinson disease I helped her and still do from time to time when she can't do normal activities. This is why i continue to do caregiving work. What would happen if my mom didnt have me to help her when she cant do something. It made me want to be able to help others that dont have anyone there. I have worked for horizon health and also now work for encore as a caregiver. I love being able to help others that can't do normal things for themselves. It is so rewarding.
