Hello My name is Shalon lane I have been in the healthcare field for 11 years I am in college to receive my bachelor's in science of health administration I have two boys they are my everything. I have my certificate in Dementia gem stone training I have taken care of all age groups I have experience with autsim and other special needs children I love taking care of people it's my passion I take it to heart.

I have wanted to take care of people since I was 12 years old when I was taking care of my mom with chronic pancreatitis. I have been in the medical field for about 6 years. Hi, my name's Kaela. I have enjoyed working with older adults since I turned 16 and started my first job at a retirement community. I'm compassionate, caring, social, and love getting to know new people. As the oldest child, I've always taken on the caregiving role for my little sister and this is what spiked my interest in healthcare. My favorite part about being a nursing assistant is spending one on one time with residents and helping them to feel and look their best. I'm currently a student at Central Michigan University. I have a neuroscience major and am working on a gerontology minor. I hope to attend graduate school to become a physician assistant specializing in hospice or geriatric care. One fun fact about me is that my favorite animal is an elephant. Last summer I volunteered in Thailand for a month at a rural health clinic. While I was there I had the opportunity to swim and hike with "retired elephants" at an elephant sanctuary!
