My name is Angie Brown, I have experience working in skilled facilities and also assisted living. For the last few years I have been doing home health care. I love being able to help families out and hopefully make a difference, its a very rewarding feeling, I'm proud of the way i take care of my clients and treat them with respect and provide them with the best care possible, I am covid vaccinated and cpr certified.

Taking care of the elderly is my passion I like seeing my clients happy well loved and cared for, I've always been this way. I enjoy when I walk out the door they are happy smiling and have had a great experience in the time we've spent together. If I can do this then I feel my Dad is looking down smiling and proud of me, I was blessed to be able to take care of him at home when he was diagnosed with Dementia until he passed. God blessed us with that time together,

I am an outgoing and friendly person. I have great communication skills. I love the one on one contact and relationship that I have with my clients in their homes. My mother was a caregiver so I decided to follow in her footsteps. I have 18 years of home health and 11 years of hospice care experience. I'm proud of my personal achievements of obtaining my cna license later in life and making employee of the month on several occasions.

I treat my patients as my own family. I have been a CNA for 4 years in LTC I joined the healthcare field because I enjoy helping others. My Personal achievement that I am most proud of is when my residents call me their family.

I have worked with short-term, long-term, and dementia residents at a nursing home for close to three years. I have had the privilege of caring and meeting many incredible people to whom I have developed close relationships with throughout the years. I have helped many of my residents recover through rough post surgeries, as well be a constant friend when they have needed someone to talk to. I love caring for others and enjoy being a helping aide for those who can't help themselves anymore.

I was working as a housekeeper in 2004. I was approached and asked if I would love to be a caregiver! I prayed about it and said yes! I felt like God put me where I'm supposed to be. One thing I have learned about myself throughout my nursing career is how much I enjoy the elderly population. I have experience in large nursing homes, small home to individual care. The intimacy of individual care has me hooked! Really getting to know a person, what they really enjoy, that's what it is all about. I was lucky enough to have had my grandparents in my life till a couple years ago. I took care of them at the end, as tough as it was, they had a beautiful end of life. To me, that is the most important thing. To allow and encourage them to do what makes them happy while offering the support they need. That could be something simple like having that favorite meal, going for a ride to a favorite place, or just having someone to talk to. It is my responsibility to ensure they are able to enjoy life, and I am committed to doing all I can to make them smile each day.
