Hi I am a 42 year old single mom who loves to take care of people. I have over 20 years experience taking care of people.

I became a caregiver because I took care of my grandmother before she passed away I enjoy working with elderly people I am a very caring person I also run an organization for homeless families so my heart is definitely there when it comes to people in need whether they are rich or poor.

I just always had a passion to help others it's just something I love doing. Being able to give someone that extra help they need so that they can stay in their own homes makes me love what I do even more and also just seeing the joy that I bring into their lives not only makes their day but it also makes mine. Going back to school and receiving 3 certifications was a big accomplishment for me. I am a motivated quick learning who is eager to help others. I am very passionate about my work, I love what I do. I have worked in hospitals, nursing homes as well as homecare settings.

I am a very kind, helpful, and determined person. I set very high goals for myself and I strive to succeed. I love helping people and being able to make people happy with my help. My grandmother was an aide, so she's one of my biggest motivations.

I migrated from the Philippines to US leaving behind my family specially my now 84 year old mother and seven grandchildren. The work of a caregiver or a CNA brings me back the care and love I shared with my families. Being with people and taking care of them is like I am taking care of my family and this inspires me to do my job to the best as i could.

I fully believe we all have a calling in life. This happens to be mine. I've been a certified nurses aide since I was 18 years old. I've worked with all facets in which the job could entail. Private and in house facilities. Dementia/Alzheimer's - the blanket of it and it's branches, quad and paraplegic inflicted folks. Colostomy care as well as wound care. The list goes on. However, whatever the aliment, or the the age, we are all people, with feelings and tempers and day to day challenges. Sitting down with someone, hearing stories about their loves and accomplishments, simply giving them time and attention is what I see is most important. The smiles, hugs and love make my job worth it each and every day. I would be happy to sit down and meet you, your family and loved one and see if I am the right fit to help them carry on, when sometimes life seems like it's taking simple tasks away from them and comfort and ease them into a new chapter. For over a decade I have worked in Emergency Medical Services. I love the job and all that comes with it. Healthcare covers such a broad spectrum, but at the end of the day, it is about people who need some kind of help, and people who are able to help. I enjoy being helpful, and I enjoy making an impact in someones life, no matter how big or small. Everything from assisting someones recovery and seeing them walk again, all the way to just being comfortable in peaceful moments. People everywhere need help, and I pride myself on being accountable, dependable, and reliable.

I believe I'm a great caregiver cause I do what I have to do. Always on time . I always get the job done.what made me be a caregiver was that I loved working with the elder and love helping them out in anyway I could as if it was my grandmother or grandfather. I love being a caregiver cause what I do and other caregivers do makes the clients happy on how we are helping them and what we do for them . I believe my personal achievement that I am proud of myself is working with clients that are on hospice.
