Hello, I have been a Certified Nursing Assistant for 20 years. I've always had a passion for caring for those who may be in need of healthcare services and assistance with maintaining dignity and as much as independence as possible. I am CPR certified, up to date on all vaccinations including COVID. I have experience with several areas of healthcare ranging from acute hospital, nursing home, hospice, disabilities and special needs, and home health. I enjoy being able to make someone's day better by providing a comforting ear, hand, smile, or personal care whenever needed. My whole family including my mother, aunt, sister, and sister in law all work in the healthcare field. I feel that honesty, trust, patience, caring are all personality traits it takes to be a great caregiver. Growing up I was always with my grandparents, always wanting to help my mom take care of others. I put others before myself. The most I enjoy about being a caregiver is the one on one time I get to spend with the client, get to know them, their likes and dislikes, try to let them be independent as possible. Hello I am 30 years old, I am currently registered in school to revive my Bachelor degree to be a licensed teacher! I have worked in the nursing field since I was 18 years old and enjoy helping elderly out on a daily! I am very outgoing, love talking and connecting with my patients. there's not one patient I met that haven't fell in love with me, I am genuine, very caring and take out time with others to show my love so they can feel love and comfortable enough to be their self and express their self!

I am currently enrolled in Ashford University and I am doing well. I am currently working as a Personal Care Aide (PCA) and since I have been doing this, I am finding that i love it more and more.

I became a caregiver back in 2007 when I was a CNA. My certification has expired because two years I forgot to pay the recertification. But I become one because I love to take care of people no matter the age. I wanted to take care of my grandmother but everyone at that time said that I was too young in which I was. So I knew from here on out that I could take care of the ones who needed help the most.
