I am a great caregiver because I actually wanted to become a nurse because I was raised by my grandmother and I watched her be a caregiver to her parents and kids and also raise me as a daughter and I am her granddaughter. My great grandmother had multiple sclerosis when I was growing up as a young child and she lived next door to us. I used to go help my grandma take care of her till she got bedridden and passed. Both of my grandfathers also had Alzheimer's, dementia and Parkinson's I was also a full-time caregiver to one of them as a young adult. What I enjoy most about being a nurse and a caregiver is companionship. Everyone needs somebody especially the elderly it's very lonely when you get older and I love being a nurse/ caregiver to have my client feel that Most beautiful experience of Someone that actually cares.

Iam a people person who enjoys getting to know others and serving them. I've been doing this for 22 yrs and I believe this is my calling.

I am 20 years old attending college to become a nurse, I enjoy talking and doing activities with my patient , my biggest achievement was be able to take care of 6/7 people in one day even though it was not easy.

I love to help and that's why I am so great at caregiving for others. A good caregiver comes with heart for free. I love to help families and or independent people be comfortable, safe and happy at home. Unfortunately I am not rich so I need to earn a wade but my heart is 100 percent free. I love entering a home helping and moving on to the next. I just love all of the tricks inside secrets of families, maybe its a magical recipe or neat way to clean with vinegar. A personal achievement I am proud of is going back to work part time after staying home to raise my children for 17 years. I have been a caregiver for over 15 years in facility / at home. I want my resident/ client to know they are my first priority. I want them to feel and know that they do matter. I want to preserve their privacy, dignity, and independence as much as possible. I am an empathic person. I have studied and still studying Teepa Snow techniques. I became a caregiver when a relative was neglected in a nursing home. I want my resident / client to feel like she / he is the only person that matters to me. My personal achievement that I am most proud of is returning to school after so many years has passed. You are never too old to accomplish anything you set your heart and mind to do.
