Observe or examine patients to detect symptoms that may require medical attention, such as bruises, open wounds, or blood in urine. Exercise patients who are comatose, paralyzed, or have restricted mobility. Feed patients or assist patients to eat or drink. Communicate with patients to ascertain feelings or need for assistance or social and emotional support. Lift or assist others to lift patients to move them on or off beds, examination tables, surgical tables, or stretchers. blood collection, foley and catheter insertion and removal, telemetry placement and removal, BMS placement, Accucheks, specimen collections, wound care.

I had been a family caregiver to two members previously and all together, I have 10 years experience. Ive been told I have a servants heart and find I am happiest when making others satisfied. I have always had a desire for helping people especially the elderly. It's been a very rewarding career choice that I have always enjoyed doing. Knowing that I can help promote a person's well being towards maintaining their independence is rewarding to me. When I worked with a dementia client, helped to recall some of her memories through writing and reading exercises. My sister had many health problems in which; I encouraged her through daily functions similar to what she would do at home, helped with her transition from home to nursing home. Also, when I received my certification in nursing. I am a christian, loving,caring,devoted,reliable,efficient,responsible and love unity of family. My hobbies are reading, walking, meditate, pray, visit the sick and shut in, movies, love to volunteer my time helping those in need. I am a non smoker, do not drink alcohol, don't do any type of drugs. I have excellent references.

I love taking care of people, providing them with better life choices because I'm there to care for them when other times they may be afraid to step too far out of their home, for fear they won't make it back inside or fear of the world and people in it. I want to be there to give them that security blanket and secure them in their daily activities because I know they like to gain that self independence and do things more independently without having to sit around and not get what they wanted done. It helps to promote longer health and happiness from within. Something that so many take for granted. I love caring for the elderly and those that are less fortunate.

I have been in the country since 2003 doing other jobs until I found this job in 2012 till present. I have a lot of things to say about working this job. And testimony I have. Truly enjoyed getting to know a great people some even end up being my personal friends. I sometimes get a call and can not remember but they call to check on me and tell me how sweet I was. You get to know what I mean when we get started. Am always encouraging.

I'm a sweet loving person everyone that knows me loves me I have a soft spot for the elderly I always have I took care of my grandmother before she passed away and I've had jobs here and there in that field just didn't get to stay like I wanted to because of lack of clients in my area the ones I've dealt with have been so sweet and the stories they've told me I love to hear them

1 thing that attracted me to be a caregiver is just the thought of helping others & putting a smile on their face I really enjoy it. I started my career at NHC working in memory care & I loved it there the residents I had were so sweet. It was a tough job at times but I enjoyed it for the most part. I recently switched over to home care & I love this even more especially getting to go run errands with my clients & enjoying the day & sitting & talking to them & finding out things they like to do & how they grew up.
