Hi there, I am Jeannine; AKA "J" (for those that have a difficult time with my name). I'm uplifting, compassionate, kind and love to find humor throughout each day. I decided to go into caregiving full time after taking care of both parents until their passing. I became astutely aware of the necessity for a caregiver to possess the same qualities I have to offer others (and their family members) during the time I oversaw the needs of my own parents. I realize how important and upsetting it can be for families trying to fill their loved ones needs without adequate help, and welcome the opportunities to help those in need. To me, it is both rewarding and fulfilling to know I have made a positive difference in someone else's life.

I have been working with the senior population for over 10 years. I am CPR and First-Aid trained and I enjoy the work I do. I have experience with hospice, BP checks,BS checks,meal preparation, medication reminders,run errands,doctor visits, and light housekeeping work. I am a compassionate, caring,patient, and kindhearted person that enjoys what I'm doing. If you get me as your caregiver,you will be satisfied.

What makes me a caring, patient, loving caregiver is not only caring for my mother, but becoming one myself. Having a toddler has made me into the most tolerant and exuberant person. I am interested in being a caregiver for many reasons. Not everyone gets the choice to take care of their loved ones, I did. Whether it be returning a cart for an elderly couple or changing a tire for someone in a cast on 385. A personal achievement I am so proud of is the ability to pass on the art that is southern cooking that my Mother and Grandmother and Great grandmother taught me. Food brings people happiness. Brings back good memories. Being able to make something for someone that their mama used to make them as children is amazing. The light in their eyes is worth any and all work it took to prepare.

As a trained Stephen Minister and cancer survivor, I can relate to most concerns. I have transferred my skills many times as I followed my husband's career path. I am dependable, empathetic, yet determined when clients need me to encourage them. I am willing to do light housework and prepare meals.
