I became a caregiver. Because I love to care for people. I would want someone like me watching over my family , and myself when I will to be care for myself. I enjoy the time to learn and get to know and learn new people. Enjoy to have a new friend and sometime family.

I became a CAREGIVER because I have a natural instinct to help others. I feel that it's a "Calling". And I thoroughly enjoy working with the elderly, and hearing their stores. A personal achievement that I am proud of is being recognized with a Heart N Hands Award for my service to my elderly clients. I moved from California to Tennessee in 2003. After working in a Distribution Center for almost 2 years, I became a CAREGIVER and have been employed as such for over 10 years. I have an outgoing personality and get along well with others. I am also a woman of Faith. My hobbies are reading, crafting, live theater, etc. I have alot of experience as a Professional Caregiver and would love to help with your loved one!

I have always had a desire for helping people especially the elderly. It's been a very rewarding career choice that I have always enjoyed doing. Knowing that I can help promote a person's well being towards maintaining their independence is rewarding to me. When I worked with a dementia client, helped to recall some of her memories through writing and reading exercises. My sister had many health problems in which; I encouraged her through daily functions similar to what she would do at home, helped with her transition from home to nursing home. Also, when I received my certification in nursing. I am a christian, loving,caring,devoted,reliable,efficient,responsible and love unity of family. My hobbies are reading, walking, meditate, pray, visit the sick and shut in, movies, love to volunteer my time helping those in need. I am a non smoker, do not drink alcohol, don't do any type of drugs. I have excellent references.

I love taking care of people, providing them with better life choices because I'm there to care for them when other times they may be afraid to step too far out of their home, for fear they won't make it back inside or fear of the world and people in it. I want to be there to give them that security blanket and secure them in their daily activities because I know they like to gain that self independence and do things more independently without having to sit around and not get what they wanted done. It helps to promote longer health and happiness from within. Something that so many take for granted. I love caring for the elderly and those that are less fortunate.

1 thing that attracted me to be a caregiver is just the thought of helping others & putting a smile on their face I really enjoy it. I started my career at NHC working in memory care & I loved it there the residents I had were so sweet. It was a tough job at times but I enjoyed it for the most part. I recently switched over to home care & I love this even more especially getting to go run errands with my clients & enjoying the day & sitting & talking to them & finding out things they like to do & how they grew up.

I truly believe I was put on this earth to take care of people. I'm very caring and devoted person. There is nothing else I rather be doing.

I love to help people in general, especially the elderly and disabled. I enjoy gearing there amazing stories of there past when they was younger. My best achievement so far would have to be sticking with the same job for so long. Most CNA's get tired of it after a few years, but not me!
