I've been a caregiver for more than 30 years. I care about people and I feel like God has given me a gift. I love to talk so I pretty much can get a patient to try must things that a family member can't get them to to to. I love to read and interact with them if it's just a game cards.

I love being a caregiver

As a caregiver i enjoy listening to the clients life story and trying to relate to things that they have experienced in the past. They pass on their wisedom and experience of life to us as caregiver. And being able to make your client feel like they are still important is just an amazing experience. To see them excited when you walk in always makes me smile.

What makes me a great care giver is I love what I do and I love helping people. I have been working with the elderly for about 30yrs and there is no better job I rather be doing. When they're happy I'm happy.
