I majored in Social Work and have had a wonderful 27 year career of working with children, adolescents and the aging. I have worked at UVA hospital where I gained insight into the importance of maintaining good health and how devastating a disease or accident is on one's health and life. I have worked for department of social services and assisted the aging with receiving the services needed to remain in their home or to move into a facility. At this time, I am doing "hands on" care in people's home to assist them with various activities of daily living. My mother was bedridden for many years and I was one of her primary caregivers. I know the burden on family when caring for a loved one and the importance of support. My grandfather lived to be 96 and I was there for him to assist with shopping, meal prep, housekeeping, medication reminders and transportation. I cherish the times that I spent with my mother and grandfather caring for them. I also cherish the support I received from others.

I'm Caring, Compassionate, and Hard working. I became a caregiver when my Grand mother became ill. I wanted to give her the same care she gave us when my parents split. I always try to give a 110% and would do whatever it takes to make the clients feel as normal as possible. I've been a caregiver for over 20 years. My greatest accomplishment is to have taken courses for the L.P.N. curriculum. I want to make a difference in the lives I touch.

Hi I have been a CNA since 1990 . I've worked in hospitals,nursing homes,private sitting. I love taking care of people it's been my passion. I took care of all my grandparents until their passing. I love making a difference in people lives if only for a little while. God has truly blessed me. I'm breast cancer survivor of 1 yr and also taking care of many cancer patients, elderly, I've did a lot of private sitting. I enjoy my clients making them happy. Last year while finishing my cancer I decided to take my Certification for CCMA and passed!
