Giving hope & encouragement to someone facing health crisis.Which left a spirit of Hopelessness. They were independent ;sickness made them become dependent individuals.I want to help in their transition.By helping with character traits. I became a caregiver because i love taking care of the elderly and people as a whole. Being able to give quality care at a high level of gratitude and expectation is what motivates me. One of the things I'm most proud of is a time when i walked in on a resident at the nursing facilities where i worked and his countenance just didn't look right so i asked the resident was he ok. He said yes but i just didn't have peace about it,so i called the nurse. To my surprise, he was on the verge of having a stroke due to the fact that i went to check in on him saved his life in time. And for that, I'm forever greatful.

What makes me a great caregiver is working with people in a home care setting, it is essential that a caregiver feel the desire to want to help. By showing both empathy and compassion I will let the person that I am caring for I will let the person know that they are care about and what I can do to help them. Why I became a caregiver Growing up in a family of medical professionals I surely thought that one day I would become a nurse. After watching my mom take care and aid the sick in her home, I knew I wanted to become more hands-on with patients. While still in high school, I became a volunteer patient assistance for a local Nurse home, helping out with medical records and little jobs as needed around the Nurse. Being surrounded on a daily basis by this kind of environment is what made me want to become a caregiver. After high school I became a childcare provider in a facility, and I ran my own daycare from my home. Although I loved what I did, it didn't bring me as much joy as caring for the elderly. What do I like about being a caregiver. I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where you have one-on-one interaction with others. I enjoyed taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way. I like older adults and feel you can get along well with a variety of elders.I like doing work that has the potential to make a difference in someone's life. I like doing a variety of tasks in a day. What is a Personal Achievement that I'm proud of
