First and foremost, I have been in the field. For more than 25 years, I have been very successful in providing care for individuals according to each clients needs. I pride myself on the fact that I got one particular client who wasn't willing to participate in any exercise and was wheelchair bound to not only participate, but eventually began walking. I am extremely proud to say I absolutely adore working with seniors, I've been doing it for a long time and I don't anticipate changing. Thanks for your time and consideration.
Skills & Certifications: Medical Assistant (MA), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Caregiving has been a part of my whole life. Family and friends whenever in need. Becoming a caregiver was my calling. Being compassionate with someone makes us all better people, regardless of ones capacity to care or their need of care...it's my goal to do my best to keep my client comfortable and not needing anything. My personal achievement only in part was going to college and getting my Bachelors Degree in Health Admin. My goals are not finished, but caring for others along the way is what my calling is. I have taken care of my mother until her death from complications of MS, my grandson since he was a baby....currently 16, but losing his battle everyday. So caring about people and their dignity and their rights to have care and compassion in their lives is important to me. Even if that means never saying a word and just being present.
I'm a caregiver for 20yrs and more. I'm a people person and I like to help taking care people in their private home. I had more than 20yrs of experiences also I worked for different agencies as well as the memory unit at different Nursing Homes.
A capable caregiver with extensive experience in hospice and home health care. Enthusiastic and motivated to share my qualifications and caregiving skills.

I am actually a CNA. I became one because of my grandmother. Seeing her in the sick stage made me want to care for every elderly I could. As a child to see someone who means a lot to you, just go down it made me say when I grow up I want to be in the medical field . And I became a certified nurse assistant.
I like the fact that they depend on me for care. I also enjoy caring for them, the look in there eyes when they see me makes me feel like I'm important to someone. My love for older people is undeniable ,strong ,and unfailing . I don't see me doing nothing else but sharing my big heart for a person who needs it.
My personal achievement is making them smile when they see me coming to care for them. Letting them talk about old times , listening to their life before they needed a person to come in and care for them. And just knowing that they are glad to have a great caregiver In their life, that's what my achievement is.

Enthusiastic, patient, compassionate, and caring care provider who provides quality care with the highest of standards. What help's me to be a great caregiver is patience. My expertise comes from experience and knowledge. In college my field of study was Allied Health Care. During college I provided full-time care to my grandmother. After college, I went to work as an in home care provider. I do my best to lead a healthy life style with a balanced diet, plenty of rest, and exercise. My biggest achievement...my children. My oldest is nineteen, and he has lots of charisma. He is quiet charming. My youngest is 15, and he loves to play baseball. He is a worthy athlete. I have achieved three AA Degrees. One in Allied Health Science carrying a 4.0 GPA and In Liberal Arts, and Foreign Language. Currently I am employed on call. Please see work experience for more details. I am willing to negotiate wages; it depends on the duties.
With my expertise, guidance, compassion and respect I have helped the elderly and other adults to maintain as much independence as possible by providing appropriate in home care assistance, companionship, personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, transportation, housekeeping and an enjoyable lifestyle. In doing so I have found such joy and passion as I have helped people grow old with dignity, pleasure, and a sense of purpose and managed to lift spirits, not only of the person in need, but of the family caregivers as well. Rates 4hours and above is $15/hr Any thing less is $20 per 24 is negotiable
I worked 18 years for a company as a credit auditor. When my youngest child graduated from college I decided to pursue my passion and become a nurse. I graduated from an excellent CNA school and I had my very first client 2 months after I passed my state exams the first time. I love caring for others. I'm nurturing by nature and it has been so rewarding to provide care in a respectful and dignified way.
What makes me a good caregiver is that I am a compassionate person and l care for all my clients with dignity. The reason why I became a caregiver is because I enjoy helping others. Also I feel that if my grandmother or mother was in a situation and needed care I would want somebody with my heart to take care of them. I've been a caregiver for over 13 years I worked in facilities hospitals and also other people's homes. Now I want to find a family who can use me to care for their loved ones long-term.
The personality traits and expertise that help me to become to be a great caregiver, are that I'm empathetic very passionate about the work that I'm a people person and making sure that people are happy. Making sure my individual clients needs are being met is a high-priority for me.
What is attracted me to be coming a caregiver is that I come from a long line of nurses and and care providers, being a care providerit is been a family tradition.that entails that we lovingly take care of our elderly at home and so this is just part of my heritage that's been passed down from generation to generation caregivers taking care of those elderly and those unable to perform the daily activities a life without assistance it's a for filling career and I enjoy it.
What are you joy most about being caregiver is providing care comfort and company to those individuals that I provide care for knowing that theyare comfortable and their needs are being met is goes without saying there are no words to explain the peace that I feel when I know that my clients needs have been met allowing them to maintain dignity and respect.
A person achievement that I'm proud of is called the completion of CNA school andmaking the decision to enroll in R N in school to further my education in the nursing field
The number one trait that I assume to be why I am a caregiver is because I am a parent. And parents I think are the ultimate caregiver towards their children and others. I believe that I am a great one because I am understanding and caring towards anyone and everyone.
