Personality traits: I try to put myself in the other person's shoes. I am a person of the highest integrity and dress in a professional manner. I know how to balance empathy and caring in such a way that as I care for the body, the mind and soul feels cared for as well giving a sense of comfort in knowing everything's going to be alright and they feel safe and secure. The thing that attracted me to being a care giver is, I like to "Help" people. I'm interested in the wisdom an elderly person has. One personal achievement I am proud of is being excepted into the 2019 Strathmore's Worldwide Who's Who in my occupation as a Health Care provider. I have 15 years prior experience as a NA11. I've worked in agencies with Home Health and Hospice and in a skilled nursing facility. I have experience with every aspect that it takes to care for your loved one with over 20yrs. In all. The one thing that makes me a great care giver is I listen to their needs not my agenda and I love what I do.
I become a caregiver cause I have passion in caring for our elders. I took care of my grandmother till she passed away. I cared for a femal client for 4yrs till she passed away in 4/3/2015 . I enjoy my job as a caregiver cause it gives me an opportunity to be around and help our elders. My personal achievement that am proud of is going back to school for my CNA and Med Tech and got the Certificates. I am a Mother of 3 beautiful kids. I have seen people who have recovered from major surgeries going home from hospitals and it has given me satisfaction that I participated in their care. I am a certified CNA with 28 years of experience. I was motivated to be a caregiver at a young age living with my grandparents who raised me. My grandfather had a stroke and diabetes. At the age of 12 I assisted my grandmother to take care of him because I loved them very much. I believe you should do unto others as you will have them do unto you by being accountable, putting their priorities first and giving lots of tender loving care. I always do above and beyond my call of duty. My greatest achievement in CNA is that I have never been unaccountable for not working when I said I will do the job. Clients accept me as part of their family and never want to get rid of me.
