What makes me a great caregiver is that I have over 25+ experience. I have been in the medical field, worked in hospital setting, clinic setting and in private practice caregiving. I have a wide range of caregiver experience from pediatric, adult and geriatric.

I have work in the hospital for the past 17years, I also work in home health care . I am a certified nurse aide. I also work in rehab for 6 years I became a caregiver because I love to help people. It is my calling. Caring for other give me joy to know that I was there , when someone needed me. I am now working on my register nurse degree, hope in the next year I will have my achievement. I am very a reliable person, honest, and give my best in every thing I do. I love to cook, read and spend time with my family. I am also a dog lover.

What attracted me to being a caregiver was working for the first time in a Nursing facility as a support member. I was looking for a job and was interested in the medical field so I took my first job in that field starting at the facility. I was only allowed to help feed and talk to the patients but I realized I loved helping and wanted to be able to do as much as I can to help them so that encouraged me to get further qualified and become a CNA. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the feeling that I get seeing someone happier or feel more comfort because of something I did for them weather it was small or big, knowing that I helped them with something truly makes me happy. Along with the great conversations I have with many of the residents, I can learn something new or interesting about them everyday and become someone they trust.
