I enjoy their time because they have so much to offer and need that companionship ..I truly spoil my clients because at this age they deserve to be treated with love and kindness and the reassurance that the next step of whatever part of the day that we will take it on together and get through whatever obstacle lies ahead..

Hello, I have been a caregiver for 14yrs and became a CNA in 2010. I am a very honest and reliable person with stellar references. I love the elderly dearly and love helping them in any way I can. I have cared for many great families until their loved one passed. I have experience in dementia, transferring, meal preparation, grocery shopping, managing other caregivers, total care, hospice care and so much more.
After being a recipient of outstanding caregiving services for a terminally ill relative, I, myself developed a an interest in providing home healthcare services as a career. As a result, I became Certified as a Nursing Assistant and Home Health Aide in 1996. Over the years, I have met many wonderful clients and developed an extensive skill-set providing all levels of care, bathing, dressing, meals, medication reminders/monitoring, shopping and transportation. I am also skilled in acute bedside care, including palliative / hospice care. I have gained additional training working in several hospitals in the Austin area, but ultimately returned to my passion, which is providing outstanding care in the a person's own home, thereby relieving the stress families feel when looking for competent care of their loved ones. I truly believe that care provided in the home can note only promote a much better quality of but can actually extend their life, compared to care provided in an institutionalized setting. I remain strongly committed to that mission, and believe I can be a great asset to your family.
Hello my name is Margaret and I love my job! I've been a caregiver since the early 90's I became a caregiver after assisting and caring for my grandmother. It was so fulfilling and it brought joy to my heart to just be able to be there for her during this fragile time in her life. What I really like about caregiving, is helping the elderly accomplish their needs and fulfilling their desires. Such as taking them to their doctors appointments, grocery shopping, hair salon / barber shop, or to the mall just to look around. I've even driven a 92 year old to Colorado for a vacation . What ever their heart desires. I'm an honest, nurturing, reliable and compassionate caring person . I have had experience with demensia, stroke, depression, diabetes and transporting to appointments and outings. I do light house keeping, medication reminders, grocery shopping and so much more! About me, I am a nurturing, honest, dependable, enthusiastic and a reliable caregiver. My job is to give them all the care that they need.
