Intelligent, empathetic graduate nurse seeks registered nurse caregiver position. Recognized for exceptional patient care by staff and clients in the units of geriatric, psychiatric, med-surgical, and infusion unit. Able to bring innovation in the aptitudes of patient care, safety, and promotion in well-being! Nursing has always been a profession that I wanted to pursue. I've always been interested in the nursing field ever since I could grasp the concept of healthcare. When I was a child I idolized the work ethics of my parents. My mother was a nurse and her caring and knowledgeable charisma were qualities that I wanted to see in myself. My father was a headmaster of a school for children with learning disabilities which generated my interest in mental health. I admired the strong experience my parents had in both physical and mental health. From seeing such perseverance from my parents to help mankind, I became attracted to medical books at an early age and thought how wonderful it was for people to want to help one another. Reading about the treatments and care nurses provide to others was something I desired to contribute to when I became an adult. In my college career I have received recognition and scholarships for going above and beyond in professional volunteering organizations and schoolwork. I have been thoroughly dedicated to my studies and have graduated with a 3.94 GPA. I was also appointed Vice-President of the Student Nurses Association (SNA) of Yavapai College. This leadership opportunity in the SNA has made me comfortable with a management role when future opportunities arise. I still maintain a 4.0 GPA in my current scholastic career at the University of Texas at Arlington. I am further committed to the holistic care of patients. I'll uphold the goals and values of the clients I provide for while pursuing innovative ideas to promote the best quality of life that can be attained.

Good day. I am a 56 yr old father of 4, experienced caregiver. I attended Baylor University in the 80's for a couple of years before enlisting in the USAF. I worked with students with disabilities for Northside ISD for many years. For a few years now, I've immersed myself in the seniors care field and have devoted my work to assist the families of: a WWII 94yr old veteran with dementia and blindness, a 63 yr old retired DEA agent with Parkinson's symptoms, a charming southern lady with fall risks, an army veteran with Alzheimer's, and a former Texas cowboy with post-traumatic brain injury. I'm well versed in providing many services required in at-home caregiving. I have helped with everything from mobility, light housekeeping/meal prep, meds mngmnt, and bathing to companionship, bathing, wound care, and physical/occupational/speech therapy exercises. I believe if given an interview, you'll see I might suit your expectations. Direct communication with me optional. References upon request, of course. Thank you. Jose T

I'm an awesome caregiver because I've heard it from my personal clients. Caregiving is my passion, i will thrive to see a smile on my clients. I love to seat there, and listen to there back in the days moments, along with them showing me pictures from the past. My personal achievement that I'm proud of is that my clients keeps texting me & telling positive communication feedback.
I started working as a provider for an agency and liked the job then i decided to go back to school and take a cna course so i could have more knowledge of what i was doing (wich i still need to get my certification i have proof of completion ) also to care better for the patients because they deserve to be treated kindly and with respect what i love about this job is that you get to care for others like if they were part of your family.
Here are some of the best traits that i have as good caregiver , I have patience ,Compassion. When someone has compassion for another they have an understanding of what the person is going through. Attentiveness. Dependability. Trustworthiness. The elderly has a wealth of knowledge that they love to share about life and their experiences. I enjoy their appreciation for you being their caregiver and they seem so grateful. I treat them the same way I would like to be treated and the way I would like my mother should be treated if she need care.
My experience started when I was my husband's caregiver after he was injured in Vietnam. After that point, I realized that it was a calling for me. What I enjoy most about my job is ensuring that my patients are happy and as comfortable as possible. All of my work is done with loving care and respect for the patient.
I take seriously the care of my patients they are my no. 1 priority, I enjoy taking care of patients, I like to see my patients happy that's what makes my job interesting and challenging. My greatest achievement when I became a best teammate of the month and they put me in a restorative duty.
