i am a happy person ...have traveled outside of USA and looking forward to doing so again in 2015...give all glory to GOD (keeping Him 1st) just love people i cant stress it enough how much i enjoy taking care of anyone in need( especially my elders i highly respect)
I'm a very dependable person. I love to clean and to spend time with people. I have always taken care of my family now they are grown and I miss that feeling of being needed. I hope to fill that void with a caring care senior.
I was called in this field of work by God I love what I do and when I do it. I love embracing people with my smile and encouraging people that WE CAN DO IT. I graduated high school and I wanted to go to school for music but I loved taking care of people so I went for my CNA . I took care of my mom before her transition. My personal achievement is knowing that my resident is happy and the end of my work day.
My parents were both very involved with volunteering. I learned early on the benefits and rewards of being caring, kind and helping others. My mom lived in her own home until she recently passed away at 98. We had various caregivers for her over the years, and while some were wonderful, there were many more that were not.
I treat people the way I would treat my own mother...with respect and dignity. I try to find what brings joy to whomever I'm caring for. Do they like to sing or be sung to, play cards, board games, go for a walk? I can help clean, make meals, get groceries, transport to and from Dr visits and hair appointments or just give a full time caregiver a break.
I helped my mom with bathing, grooming and dressing and am willing to learn how you do things.
I have a heart of gold when it comes to people who need a little extra help, especially the elderly. I'm reliable, patient, trustworthy and will always show up with a smile.
I hope to hear from you....Denise

I like to challenge myself as a caregiver with promoting new work skills. My time is giving care to others, that cannot do for themselves. My achievement is to see my three children succeed in the life that values them. For myself, to be recognized for my work performance, that's giving to each individual that has been cared for, show appreciation. I had several resident tell me that I'm wonderful, and I had a tearful moment. It's a blessing to hear positive thinking from a client. I'm a certified assistant living manager, private caregiver, and studied massage technique . Thank You.

1. What actually makes me a great caregiver is my willingness to serve and I believe it's my calling.
2. I became a caregiver because, I have great compassion for individuals in need of personal one on one care.
3. Their are several reasons why I like being a caregiver. The first reason is that I am able to be there for individuals that are in need of help. Another reason I enjoy being a caregiver is because, My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and after the cancer went into remission shortly afterwards, she was diagnosed with dementia. I eventually had to move her into my home and I realized how self fulfilling and rewarding it is to serve others with sincere humility. I feel that as a caregiver each individuals that I care for should receive the best of care, compassion, and the best quality of care that life has to offer.
4. My most greatest achievement is yet to come because, I'm looking to achieve more tomorrow than I have today. Life is a lifelong learning process and when you think that you have achieved your greatest achievement there is still room left for more improvement.
My name is Diane! I'm a mother of three and a grandmother of seven. In the year of 1979 I was a caregiver to my terminally ill grandmother. After she passed away in the year of 1980 I then further my education in health field to learn all I can about caring for the elderly. I attended a class in 1981 after she expired and I've been working in a he field since. Also in 2013 I for a caregiver for my Mom when she passed away in May 2013 and a caregiver for my daughter in 2013 when she flatlined and still her caregiver. So this is a passion I've had since I graduated in 1976 and still do the best in it. I have outstanding references upon request!
I have 4yrs experience as a caregiver.. I took up care job when my grandmother was sick and needed support, I took very good care of my grandma. And that was how I starting working as a caregiver which I feel it's a way of giving back to the society in a kindly manner. And I am about to finish my nurse aide training program at the advanced healthcare career institute of Dallas. I have worked with Denton state supported living and I am passionate about caring for others just like my own blood .
I am a very reliable caregiver with over 15years of experience(the experience sums up my overall performance)
I have patience, very attentive, compassion, dependable and trustworthy... for many years, going back to as young as 8years old I've always had a heart to reach out and help others with greater needs than my own. When I realize just how much my efforts touched hearts and made a difference I made it my duty to continue pushing forth in assisting others with their personal care needs. I've cared for disabled children, childcare license/daycare, nursing homes, special needs facilities, retirement homes, and in home care... I've had many opportunities to redirect my passions/careers and I've found nothing else more heart filling for me than my duties as a caregiver.... I've always been told "any type of work you do, if your heart is into it, that's where you belong" and to sum it all up... I enjoy making a difference for the better in others lives!!! I'm proud to know I'm still accomplishing my mission in seeing to it another life has hope for a greater day!
I have a passion for people, in general, and for the elderly in particular, strive to help the elderly to lead as normal lives as possible and this enhances their independence.
My personality are empathy and compassion, desire to help patience reliable and flexible .Growing up in a family of medical professionals I surely thought that one day I would become a caregiver after high school I became a caregiver in a facility it gave me the opportunity to help those who couldn't help themselves this is what prompted me to further my education by attending CNA schools while am working on become a nurse light now.
I've been caring for people all my life. I've always enjoyed taking care of others and I consider myself to be a very nurturing, caring and patient person. In the past I have taken care of family members and other loved ones. I love doing work that has potential to make a difference in someone's life. I like making someone smile and doing little things to make a person's day better and in doing that, that puts a smile on my face knowing that I have done a great job at something I love to do.
