I became a caregiver because I believe we all deserve quality care in times of sickness and end of life. I have been a licensed care giver since 2006 but my first job in health was in 1999. I am CPR certified and I currently have an EMT license as well as a CNA. I am experienced in almost all area of care. I would love to take care of your loved one in your home.

With over 30 years experience at caregiving I'm very confident I could meet or surpass your expectations. I became a care giver at 17 when life dealt my family the blow of Cerebral Palsy. My Mother and Brother were at the hands of a negligent Doctor. I took personal care of him from day one. Including him living in my home on and off for 15 years. Unfortunately, 5 years ago my oldest sister with 2 Masters Degrees had a brain bleed. She is now in Long term Care. I have made a personal investment in my own family. I understand the stress you are feeling. I know how to help you.

I am a retired licensed practical nurse but still want to be a caregiver. I'm dependable, hard working, honest, clean, neat, and no task is too big. I've worked with a variety of individuals with many different needs. Work well with others and love animals too. I've been in the healthcare field for 30 plus years.

I have been caring for people since 2015. It started out with a young girl that has cerebral palsy and I cared for all of her needs throughout the day, from bathing, feeding, changing, passing medications, driving to activities and at home physical therapy. I have also worked in a handful of different homes of elderly people being their personal caregiver. My duties were about the same as my previous position, house cleaning, medications, driving individual to and from doctors appointments, physical therapy, creating a fun environment that helped them feel like they were more than a patient. My current position is working with adults/elderly with developmental disabilities. I have in the past worked for a handful of families being their nanny and have always loved the more personal attention that I could give in the setting. I have a huge passion for helping and caring for people and plan to work in this line of work for the rest of my life.

As a CNA I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where you have one-on-one interaction with others. I grew up with my grandparents and I enjoyed taking care of them because I learned that when we get older things change. I feel i can get along well with a people. I like doing work that has the potential to make a difference in someone's life. Also doing a variety of tasks in a day. I don't ever say, \\"that's not my job\\" but instead like pitching in to do whatever is needed. to me I think it's important to make someone smile and doing little things to make a person's day better. I take pride in paying attention to detail. I'm seeking a career with growing opportunities. I don't want to invest in many years of formal education but you are willing to learn new skills and take continuing education to do your job well. I feel that when you are older, you'd want someone like yourself there to help you if you need help. Being a caregiver means to have Patience,Love, Humbled heart, and the passion to make someone's day when they are going through a big change in life or just need someone to be there.

Hello my name is Anita, I'm very happy upbeat person, reliable and looking to work part time in a field that would make me feel like I'm helping somebody. I was a foster mom for two years I had over 100 children in and out of my home over those two years (not all at one time) Rather I took in one or two children for emergency placements for one or two nights. I ended up adopting one of those children and he is grown now along with my two biological children. I can't wait to tell you all about them! I am a young 55, active and healthy. I am a part-time realtor and work both in Kansas and Missouri. I just moved to Pleasant Valley Missouri from Overland Park. My family and friends still live over in Johnson County and I typically make a daily trip over for one reason or another. So I am open to anything in Johnson County as well as north of the river. I am looking for somebody who needs maybe transportation. medicine reminders, companionship, grooming however no heavy lifting. I am a chef so I would be happy to help prepare some meals for advance reheating. I don't mind helping with some light housekeeping however nothing heavy duty I feel like you could hire housekeeping company for that. I do not smoke and Will not be able to work in a home that does have smoking. I love pets so that would not be a problem at all for me.
