I consider myself a good listener, optimistic, patient, and sensitive to other people's feelings and emotions. I like taking care of others because it reminds me of the time I used to take care of my grandmother and spend time with her either during good times or bad times. What I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is listening to others while I make myself available to help them. I am proud of having a psychologist bachelors degree.

I was a pediatric ophthalmology specialist in Canada; when we were transferred to the USA, I began a food manufacturing company. A friend approached me in 2015 to ask if I would help with their mum who was near vegetative status due to progressing dementia and being alone. Four months later, this beautiful Lady was walking, singing, dancing, and cooking with me - one of the most self-gratifying endeavors of my life. Now living in the beautiful hill country, retirement is not satisfying - I do volunteer at the VA hospital just to see these heroes smile, laugh & have someone to listen to them... and of course plenty of hugs! I would treasure being able to help another person find enjoyment in life. I am an optimistic energetic person. Always able to cheer up peoples loved ones during difficult times. I am loyal and reliable. I have been working privately on and off for a number of families starting at age 15. I have experience ranging from children with certain disabilities to sick adults. I had health problems that required some help when i was a young child. This is why i am happy and comfortable helping families in need.

I'm caring, respectful, dependable, compassionate and a great listener, It is because of my mom that I became a CMA Knowing how much help she needed and at that time I wasn't able to be there for her as much as she needed me to so I wanna be there for someone who needs the help. I am a retired nurse with experience in geriatrics, pediatrics, mental health, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and dementia. I am certified in many areas of nursing and fluent with many medical equipments including oxygen. I am very out going and love to laugh, cook, do laundry(yes, really!), And I take pride in my work.

I think what makes me a great caregiver is that I am very patient, and love interacting with my clients, I'm also do my best to keep a positive and understanding personality when it comes to my clients.

I love to be there for my elders and making sure they are takin care of all the time and paid attention to. Theyve been here before us. What has my attention the most about care giving is the thought of my grand mother's presence there with me before sure passed I was like her care giver.
