The reason why I became a CNA is I find joy in the elderly. They are knowledgeable, they make you laugh,and you can learn alot from them. I've always been described by my clients as, "heaven sent us an angel". I also took care of my mother until she passed. She had seizures, kidney failure and was on dialysis, also bed stricken. I prepare meals, great companion and love children. I am no stranger to hard work and I genuinely love people, tremendous experience in dementia, alzheimers, and medication management as well. Prior to her surgery she had diabetes and kidney disease for 3 years and didn't think she would make it to the age of 40. After her surgery I was apart of the recovery process and seeing her healthy and free of diabetes and kidney disease has been the best experience and biggest accomplishment in my life. Therefore I want to continue and help others because its what I truly love to do.
