I have been a caregiver for 40 years. I started very young. I Have worked in the medical field for many years. I was a medical assistant, Experience includes Radiology, Phlebotomy. I have worked in hospitals as well as privately as a caregiver. I speak 2 other languages , Spanish and Italian. I have knowledge of medications, first aid and CPR. I am experience in caring for people with Cancer,, Alzheimer, Parkinson, kidney dialysis, liver transplant Heart attacks, stoke, neuropathy diabetes, hypertension, and patients in hospice.

We can do light exercises, play games, cards, do puzzles, listen to their favorite music - our person in care chooses when they can, family and friends can also share their favorite leisure activities.

Hi! This next year I will be a senior nursing student at Azusa Pacific University. I have completed over 700 hours of clinical care doing rotations that allowed me to gain experience with direct observation, medical/surgical, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, strokes, oncology, mental health, public health, hospice, and clinic work. I have a passion for nursing and helping others! I take each day as an opportunity to care for and bring a smile to the faces of those around me. I am someone who is hardworking, diligent, detailed oriented, caring, positive, adaptive, and loving. When I was growing up, my mother was in the hospital a lot and faced at home recovery as well. Due to this, I saw the importance of the care she received and recognized that when her nurse cared for her emotional needs along with her physical needs, that she was able to recover faster and also have a better mindset. Because of this occurrence, I hope to be a nurse that makes a positive impact on not only the patients physical needs, but emotional needs as well, so that they may receive holistic care. I am currently a Doctor of physical therapy student in my last year of school. I am looking to fill my afternoons up using the skills that I have been learning for the past 3 years. I moved to California from Utah with my wife in 2017 and since then we have enjoyed living in San Dimas. I love to help people move and get back to their optimal function. I have previously done internships as Kaiser Permanente and Elite motion physical therapy where I have developed skills to assist from the pediatric to the geriatric populations.

I like giving 100% of my attention to those I am caring for. I am not someone who talks on their phone or texts while at work. I enjoy helping the elderly and special needs individuals. Hello my name is Andrea Saunders. I enjoy being a caregiver where I can give a helping hand to those who is in need of help. I been a caregiver for five years and I would not even trade it in the world. When I was younger I took care of my grandmother and helped with her daycare which gave me the inspiration to join this field. I love being at bedside with clients/patients and being able to be apart of a team where I can also help to see how to make them feel better. I enjoy the company and showing them that I care about them. I am currently attending online classes and attending medical school.

My personality traits are: caring, understanding, sweet and funny. The thing that attracted me to being a caregiver is the willingness to help others in need. The thing I enjoy most is being there for the patient and listening to their stories. My personal achievement is obtaining a Masters, as it has always been a goal of mine.

To put it simply, I love helping others. For as long as I can remember I have always wanted to be a nurse to improve the health of those who seek treatment. Within a year I plan to fulfill my passion when I graduate from nursing school.
