I'm a sensitive nurturing woman. I have been doing home health since 2017. I enjoy this line of work because of the satisfaction you feel putting a smile on someone's loved one face. I've always enjoyed taking care of others since I was a child I consider it my favorite hobby! The most fulfilling thing I've done while working is this field was caring for my 102 great aunt until her passing. The bond we developed was so blessed and helped me with her transition!

Hi, I'm Taja I go by TJ. I was a medical assistant And a CNA, I worked with dementia and Alzheimer's patients. I wanted more so I now work with adult with intellectual disabilities as a direct support professional and Supportive living assistant. I am very genuine, goofy, Fun, caring, loving, punctual, adventurous, hard working, and I always go the extra mile. I wanted to be in the medical field ever since I was 6 years old watching my grandmother go through malpractice, neglect, physical abuse and starvation by her Nurses Aide. My Grandfather felt hopeless and killed himself, and my grandmother was still going through it. I kneeled down at age 8 and said " don't worry mama I'm going to become a registered nurse and take care of you myself, we will have a big house and a nice car I promise". She just responded with a "mhmm". She ended up passing away a bit later. After that I kept my same promise for other people because I refuse to let anyone go through what I seen. I treat everyone like family.

I love caring for others who are in need. I was in the Army and went to Iraq twice and it felt good to assist when someone was in need on the battle field. I served 9 years in the Army and decided to get out so I can become a Nurse, I just finished LVN school and hopefully next year I can start the RN program.

Hi my names Regina Lopez Im 32 years old and am currently working at a convalescent home here in the city off Victorville.

My name is Lei-oni growing up in a big family being the second oldest of 8 siblings I have always had a passion to take care of people I love spread knowledge and teach when I am in a position to. What I enjoy about being a caregiver is creating experiences enter-acting with people from difference walks of life. I am proud of finishing my LVN program with a 3.0 grade point average, and completing my Associates degree. I am a hard working caring individual I love to make people feel happy.

I am currently an LVN. I had recently aquirred my license. I have several years experience as a Caregiver. I am currently attending VVC to work towards the RN program. Until this process is completed, I would like to dedicate my service to helping individuals who needs that person to help out with daily activities of life. I want to continue my service to my community of helping others. My personal achievement that I am proud of is finishing and continuing my education in the medical field. My passion in this field has been a life long accomplishment. I have given companionship to those needing this. I have volunteered my time at the local Veterns facility to help those who couldn't get to activities on thier own. I have raised 5 children and assisted an ill individual with medication administration, help keep scheduled appointments, prepared meals and provided daily living assistance.

I have been in nursing for the past 13 years. I started out as a certified nurse assistant and now I am currently a Licensed Vocational Nurse. I have worked in long term, rehabilitation, psych, and corrections. I was also an Emergency Response Nurse for the homeless community when the COVID Pandemic stated. I have 20+ years experience of a certified nurse assistant and Home Health Aid I enjoy being around the elderly and young adolscents. My passion is caring for them and I enjoy listening and being part of their lives. Including I have been a live in caregiver since 2002-2018

When I was only four years old, my mother used to take me to work with her. She was a caregiver for developmentally disabled adults. I watched how she interacted, and their excitement when she was around. Needless to say, I fell in love with helping others, I would get upset when I wasn't t aloud to go with her. At the age of 19, I did the exact same work, which got me interested in becoming a nursing assistant. To date, I'm currently a CNA with 14 years experience in skilled nursing, hospice, private care and assisted living. There is no other field of work for me, trust me, I've tried a few others. None can compare to compassion for the quality of life. I absolutely love helping and assisting, and hearing the history of those wiser than myself. If I had to name one weakness, it would definitely be my fear of dogs, I'm sure I've missed out on caring for some absolutely beautiful people because of it. I have taken care of the elderly for many years and it in it's self is very rewarding. I started working as a caregiver for the mentally disabled and i will admit it started as a job, but with time I fell in love with hearing where they came from their life challenges. I have worked in facilities as well as private home care. The worst part was seeing the injustice some patients go through which is why I went to nursing school for "Vocational Nursing" and am currently awaiting my testing approval. I am here to serve to suggest what is best, not to tell you how to live or to force my beliefs on anyone.

My name is Aradel and became a caregiver because I always wanted to help people in anyway I could. What I like about being a Caregiver is that I know I am helping someone and I love to meet people from different cultures. I recently graduated as a Medical Assistant and this is an achivement that I have been waiting for. About myself, I would like to go back to college and continue studying to be a nurse. I became a caregiver on my search to help people, I was not sure how I'd be of service to people, but I always knew I wanted to help. I soon found out, that becoming a caregiver was just the stepping stone I needed to start my search on the right path. I love being the person that people depend on to be there for them in there time of need. It is just a satisfaction I get from knowing I will not let them down, I am there advocate, therefore I am the eyes when they cannot see, the mouth when they cannot talk, the hands, and feet when they are unable to use there own. `My passion is helping people anyway possible. It started when I was 15 yrs old and I cared for my grandfather who had a hip replacement and cancer. Since then I've worked as a CNA and a caregiver for varies companies. The elderly takes my heart away, I love spending time with them, because they are a wealth of knowledge, and it does my heart good when I can render service to them when they are no longer able to do for themselves. The elderly as well as anyone who is unable to do for themselves, deserves to be treated with the upmost respect and given the best care given available.
