I been caregiver since 2011 till I got the certificate as a Certified nursing assistant to medical assistant now on going to vocational nursing assistant. It's my passion to take care elderly because I feel it they are my family as my grandmother. I'm already 6 years working at skilled nursing at Oakland , I am working at general hospital at psychiatric emergency, it's nice to have a experience to work in that place because you'll see the what going on in that environment. I have a background about medication bcoz I just graduate as a nurse. And doing a nclex review for a while

I am sociable, outgoing, optimistic, patient and understanding. I have experience from a skilled nursing facility and am able to adjust and accommodate with different personalities/behaviors. I decided on caregiving to improve my experience and learn more than what I am knowledgeable on now. I strive to be able to use my knowledge and experience to make a good difference and help assist someone with their daily life in a positive manner. I am proud that I was able to assist those before, and progressively, they would come out of their shell. I was able build amazing bonds with them to enhance the quality of their life.

I became I caregiver because I enjoy giving my time to people that need it and enjoy there company. The thing I like about being a caregiver is the happy reactions of my clients doing little things on a daily basis could mean a lot to them. I am proud that I went back to school and i became a CNA . A little about myself I am a mother of two girls I just graduated from school three months ago as a CNA thing of going to school as a LVN. I enjoy working in the medical field very rewarding .

I am a 23 year old girl that is pursuing her career in nursing. I am attending Unitek College for the LVN program. What attracted me to being a caregiver was that I knew that there was a lot of people in need of help and I have always loved caring for people. I started off taking care of kids and then decided to care for the elderly. I love spending time with them and love listening to their past. Just being there for people and being their companion makes me happy.

I have worked in private care the last 5 years and have worked as a nanny for 12 years. Some of the achievements I'm prove of doing things at a such a young age and be responsible.

I became a caregiver because I love helping others. I love listening to their stories from when they where younger. Or to get them out the house for a while. Some elderly people have hobbies like playing cards or painting that they have not done in a while and I'll be more than happy to play a card game or maybe learn a new game or trick, or paint a picture. I like involving them in helping to prepare lunch or matching the socks while I fold the laundry. I like to help them be more independent or involved in the daily activities, I learned that it makes them feel good about themselves. I'm also CPR certified and also a medical assistant.
