I am a caregiver now because I enjoy taking care of the elder. They need someone that is caring and compassionate that is willing to help them. I try to bring a little joy each day to them because they need to know that someone cares and love them. I have worked with Alzheimer's patients and it is very rewarding. These are people that for no fault of their own has been stricken with this disease and each day lose a little bit of themselves. They need someone to be there for them and understands what's happening to them and is willing to be patient with them.

I became a caregiver when my father got sick i took care of him for about 4 yrs before he past we went as far as hospice but at least i knew that he was comfortable and was where he wanted to be and that was at home. I feel good about seniors being able to stay in there homes rather then nursing homes. My biggest personal achievement was raising my son by myself and seeing that he is so sucessful. He graduated Fresno State na works for a local news station and for that I'm very proud. I am a mature women with no children living with me so I have all the time in the world to help pleasing others I have my own transportation and I look forward to finding new clients.

I have keep private patients until I got on sick leave, my job to received very little of ssi do to my ills. I'm In need of put my skill to work. I have been with pay working , for my son he work for IHISS, he get paid I just guide him with the nurse skills. My hobby's are: God is my Father and Guidness . I speed a lot time with God

I became a caregiver because I feel that in some point in time everyone needs someone there to be there support system through hard times. I enjoy being able to know other people on a personal level, you never know what a person has been through and as you spend time with a person you form a bond with them and it makes me feel good. A personal achievement that I am very proud of is that I am still in school and am just a few steps away from completing a personal goal. Hello, my name is Neng. I'm 27 years old. Some of my personality traits would be dancing, singing even though I can not sing, great listener, and a great companion. My expertise that help me is that I have been surrounded with elderly my whole life. People say that I can always do what I can to make someone smile or brighten up their day. Not only also have a creative mind to do all things and different ways. My older brother is deaf and that what attracted me to become a caregiver. The doctor say his brain is like a 10 year old. I started learning how to sign because no one in my family knows how to communicate and they always ask me to communicate with my brother. So I decided that it would give me an opportunities to learned new experience and it would help me see his view in life. I enjoy being a caregiver because i loved helping others and making someone life a little easier on them to see a smile on their face. One of my personal achievement that I'm proud of is that I got closer to my brother who deaf. I made him smile everyday, he had a friend and a brother. I started to know what he feels and what he likes to do. Not only that he never felt like he was alone in this world because he had a companion to talk, listen, and do things with.

what makes me a great caregiver is i have experience in looking after children and adults. i am a people person, positive attitude. i enjoy helping anyone who isn't capable of helping themselves. what attracted me to be a caregiver is the job i have now, i take care of special needs children and i really love my job. i enjoy every second of it.
