I care for people. I love helping others. I'm CPR and First Aid certified. Some medical background. I'm very reliable and you can count on me. I love animals and I also make inspirational jewelry as my way of sharing my faith. I don't smoke or drink. I have two grown boys and family is important to me. I enjoy being a caregiver and be 1:1 with patient/client due to living with grandparents with dementia. I see my client as family not as job. I like being an outlet for the elderly.

Since I can remember I've always wanted to work with the elderly, I have 13 years working with senior citizens and I love every second. I've always admired their knowledge and their many stories. My personal achievement is that I cared for my 91-year-old grandmother who suffered from dementia. We gave her the best life possible and always made her feel loved.

Caring for my Mother and Father as they started becoming fragile and unable to care for themselves, needing extra special care, patients, love and happiness was the greatest moments in our lives together. As we did our best we could to overcome all the hurdles of physical and emotional well-being. I made a promise to my mother that I would somehow continue to care for people with my genuine sincerity, caring, helpful, patient & cheerful disposition. I have been told by many physicians and care personnel that I should have been a nurse but never had the opportunity nor means to pursue the education. Even though my parents sometimes would not recognize me and instead say that I am "The nicest Nurse they ever had met!!" They made me smile as much as I made them. I hope to continue helping our elders as long as I physically am able. I just Love to make every new day a good day! I am physically fit. I am very organized and tidy. I follow guidance and direction of the qualified medical staff and am a big supporter of having everything in writing so nothing is missed... Schedules, appointments, medications, milestones, thoughts, communications.

I worked as caregiver in Chicago for over 3 years then moved because of my spouse job relocation. I took care of my mother who was diagnosed with lungs disease and had breathing problems where she couldn't really do anything on her own. I bathe her, Fed her, and did everything for her and since then When she passed away I continue to give my love and affection to others who needs care. I'm currently working as caregiver in Plano area and still want to work according to the schedule that fits my daily routine. I'm currently taking care of two elderly clients both with Alzheimer's disease. I remind them to take their pills. I cook meals, light house cleaning. Help them in shower and dress them up. I travel to their homes/ apartment or sometimes senior living facilities. If they have pets I changed for example the cat litter box and fed the cat. For dogs take them out to potty and fed them too.I love my job. I'm a hairdresser so if needed I could give them haircuts and style. I'm also in the process of getting my CNA class done. I also worked with a private client for a week, she can't walk so I was taking care of her to get her cleaned up, feeding her, taking care of her pets. Cooking, cleaning. She's paralyzed so she can only move her arms and in bed a lot. I loved working with her. Her husband was out of town so she had me work for her till he got back.

I pride myself in great customer service and I love taking care of people. I was the primary caregiver for about 6 years for my mother, who suffered from Alzheimer's Disease. More recently I had the responsibility of making sure my Brother has the best of in-home health care through Hospice until he passed. I addition, in 2005 I was the recipient of a caregiver's services as I suffered from a heart attack and stroke and required 24 hour care for approximately 6 months after I was released from the brain injury ward at St. Jude's. Having the unique experience of being the patient gave me a great understanding and prospective of how a patient should be treated with respect and dignity.

Hello! I am a nursing student currently and have worked as a CNA in the past at a skilled nursing facility for 1.5 years! I love my job and the people that I care for, this is a really meaningful career for me and I love it!

I became a caregiver on a whim but I have grown to appreciate what I do while helping people in their times of need. I am employeed with a company called NOM who specialize in dealing with cases of developmentally disabled adults. I have been in that field for three years now and I am just trying to expand my expertise. I have dealt with consumers with cerebral palsy, autism, epilepsy, immobility and more. I believe I have the right skill sets to be your caregiver.

My services would include things like preparing meals, getting medications ready, helping patient to get from room to room, doing errands, taking patients to doctor appointments, light housekeeping.

I always do for others first rather than myself. I didn't get to spend much time with my own grandmother when she was older and I feel good for helping take care of others. I enjoy one on one interaction with clients.

I Am a licensed Cosmetologist for more than 30 years now, and my career has never been just doing hair, considered a Jack of all trades, I've taken of my clients by listening, learning and try to help in any capacity which they might need. I offer from advice to also physically performing any task or help they need. I've pretty much have heard, seen and experienced every aspect of people's lives from birth through the final stages. I am strong in heart and soul to always make sure I do the very best I can to make everyone feel beautiful outside and within.

I am such a loving person. I believe I was made to be a Mother figure to all. I care for others as if they are my family. I had a little brother who had cerebral palsy and when he passed away it inspired me to be a caregiver and care for others. I loved caring for him and being there for him and I want to do the same for other families, because I know the struggle of trying to find the right person that you trust for your loved one. What I enjoy the most of being a caregiver is getting to be a part of amazing families and being there for them is by far the best feeling ever.

I grew up with a father that was a police officer. I watched how hard and tirelessly he worked to help people and I was inspired. While I didn't want to enter law enforcement I also yearned for the satisfaction gained by helping others. I love to work with people and even more I love knowing that I am making an impact on their lives, no matter how small. I continue to feel energized being around others and feel extremely satisfied knowing that I am helping people in need.
