I am a very honest individual. I have a calm & relaxed presence. I am compassionate and patient. I think what makes me a great caregiver is always knowing that the clients needs are most important, from the smallest to the biggest in their daily routines. I do not force my presence on the client. I observe what their interest are and what makes them comfortable. I love being a Caregiver. Knowing that I am helping someone to continue to live at home in their comfort zone and seeing the gratitude in their smiles when you arrive, is one of the biggest blessings I think anyone could experience. One accomplishment that I am very proud of is, I was bought out from the company I was working for, by the client that I have cared for over three years now. Being a caregiver is a little challenging at times and sometimes like everyone else , we tend to judge our selves on whether or not we are doing our best. So knowing that someone appreciated my care that much to actually buy me out from the company, so I could work for them privately, made me feel like the best caregiver ever.

I'm a loving sweet person I have passion for others I always was a help to others a giver treat people with the up most respect and respect others and they feeling's I always wanted to help others that I no was least forginet to not help themselves it start with grandmother when she became least forginet so I became help her in all her way she need until she pass I like being a caregiver cause it feels good to see you can help other's and bring a drifferent and a smile in there life my achievement I'm proud of is noing I was place to fulfill and help others in the world and can bright up the joy in others life

I became a caregiver in 2008 because my mother became very ill and needed more assistance and care i enjoy caregiving very much i love the fact of being able to care for another person in need i feel proud to say that i made a diferrence in another persons life by being able to provide the aide that is much needed and the assistance.i am a very caring loveable and compashionate person and love to work with people who need my help.

My grandparents had a big influence on my life and for that I love them dearly. While growing up, I vividly recall them struggling to successfully support themselves. Basic needs such as preparing meals for themselves, safely showering, and making it to doctor's appointments became a burden. Consequently, they relied heavily on others to assist them; however, those they relied on were not reliable and often my grandparents would go without. Although young and limited in resources, I tried to help my grandparents as much as I was able. It was hard for me to behold once formidable people in such a vulnerable state. Such a reality encouraged me to become a Caregiver years later. My desire is to bring fulfillment and a sense of capability back into the lives of seniors. Although they have aged, they are more valuable than they ever were and deserve to be treated with genuine care and love. As a caregiver, I have developed dynamic friendships with my clients. They have provided me with perspective on life and I have gained valuable skills working along with them. But most importantly, I am fulfilled knowing that I had made my client's day a little easier by providing something as simple a meal. One personal achievement that I am proud of is my continuation of nursing education. In an ever evolving world, I come to appreciate the need for relevant skills and knowledge. As I continue to educate myself, this knowledge transfers over to those I serve!

I consider myself to be a patient hardworking trustworthy caregiver and pride myself in my line of work I take the time to get to know my clients and their needs in order to help them in their most comfortable way. Caregiving is important to me and my clients are too.

I began Training in becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant in 2004. I received my license in 2005. I have experience in two Convalescent homes and one long care In-Home care, where I lived in 24/7. I have 10 more years experience in Elderly care, Catheter Care, Dementia, Alzheimer, Meal Prep and Cook as well as feeding Patient or Client, Medication Reminders, Transporting to and from Doctor Visits, ROM-Range of Motion. I love Socializing, Having a Companion, Energetic, and Bright. I am Christian, Love to sing, Watch great Movies and Television shows, but my FIRST is being there for one's in need, Caring. You can count on me, every minute. I have Certificates in Nursing, Pharmacy,and Child Development. I have also been employed at Porterville State Hospital in Geriatrics.

a good caregiver is patient and flexible. Patience and flexibility are qualities that every person in the caregiving industry must possess. There'll be many hurdles along the way-the patient is being stubborn and uncooperative, the schedule doesn't go as planned, or difficult situations arise

Im defiantly a giving person even if it's a helping hand I will give unto my clients at any time. I believe in helping people even if they can't help themselves.. my personal achievements is helping others see that there no greater hope than having someone their beside you who care and this is why my heart allow me to comfort all people who can use a helping hand..

I am extremely attentive, dependable, patient, compassionate, trustworthy, detail oriented, and nurturing. I cared for my father since I was 10 years old until Dec 2021. I also volunteered at my grandmas nursing home. I enjoy making a difference and making different personal connections. I enjoy being able to make the smile/ feel good in times of loneliness. I have the ability to make them understand that the situation they are in is not permanent that they are able to do somethings on their own. For the ones that's are bed ridden I still provide them with activities and extra care so they don't feel like this is it. I am good at turning a negative into a positive. My greatest achievement is raising my siblings, taking care of my father, caring for my children, and still being able to graduate school despite challenges that I had to face along the way. Another one is getting all 7 of my siblings to graduate HS and my dad seeing that before he passed on Christmas 2019. Life is full of beautiful blessings.

My name is Ann Toussaint I come from a family of caregivers, nurses, doctors, and various parts of the medical field, including my mom so I always have positive, and caring people around me. So I had it in me too, to have love an sincere compassion for the elderly and anyone in need. I love to see the smiles on my patient faces to know that they appreciate you, how you care for them, and treat them as a caregiver and care about their well being. Hearing their stories of their life motivates me even more as caregiver. I always give the best I could give in 100% care. My personal achievement was going back to school. and became a Medical Assistant also cared for my father who had cancer. With the experience II'acquired as a medical assistant and caring for patients helps me provide even more accurate and efficiency care for my patients, especially for my daughter and my father when they was diagnose with cancer. Praise God I was a great help for them both and that makes me proud. My daughter is cancer free my dad didn't make it. If I could say anything about myself it would be compassionate, trust worthy, reliable, love the lord, adore my daughter, love my patients. and job in the medical field. I became a caregiver because I helped care for my grandmother when she was ill and realized this is what I wanted to do. I enjoy being a caregiver because I know I am helping an individual improve their quality of life just by the simple things, cooking, cleaning and companionship. .
