YEARS AGO I WAS A CNA. I STARTED A DIFFERENT CAREER AFTER I GRADUATED FROM HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE.WHEN MY PARENTS BECAME STRICKEN WITH CANCER I QUIT MY JOB AND TOOK CARE OF THEM FOR 10 YEARS. THEY NOW HAVE PASSED ON. I THEN STARTED TO DO CAREGIVING FOR A COUPLE OF AGENCIES. I HAVE ALSO ATTENDED CLASSES TO RENEW MY CNA LICENSE, WHICH I CURRENTLY HOLD. I ALSO HAVE A CERTIFICATE IN CPR. I HAVE WORKED WITH HOSPICE, ALZHEIMER, AND STROKE PATIENTS. I'VE WORKED IN-HOME 24 HR. SHIFTS AS WELL AS 12 HR. SHIFTS AM AND PM. I AM ABLE TO COMMUTE FROM LODI, CA TO SURROUNDING AREAS INCLUDING STOCKTON, SACRAMENTO, MODESTO, AND TRACY.

I am a proud single mother of two amazing young children! I enjoy helping other's and get a lot of joy explaining my job to my children! Also, having children has taught me a lot of patience and helps me stay calm in difficult situations. I enjoy talking to my patience and learning about their life experiences and all the knowledge they have to offer!

I have experience with dementia, Alzheimer's and hospice care. I enjoy helping people when they cannot help themselves

l love what l do being a caregiver and going beyond and above for whatever task l need to do for my clients, just to see a smile on there face. What attracted me to being a caregiver is knowing how thankful everyone l have met and known through my career path. This makes me feel so proud that l can give back to my community. My personal achievement l would have to say is purchasing my first home here in lodi when l was 23.

What makes me a good caregiver is I naturally have an urge to help others. I want to make the world a better place and do it with Families being comfortable leaving their loved ones with me. I'm trustworthy, very caring, Due to the fact that I've been in the same situation with my family. I just want that sense of security knowing that everything is going to be taking care of in an honest and caring manner. I am very empathetic and compassionate. I have patience and reliable and I feel that I have that skill set and naturally that just comes to me. I would want the same Sense of security. I have been the caretaker To a lot of my family for many years since I was young due to their health issues, after high school I decided I wanted to do medical assisting and right now it's hard to get back in to the field so nothing would be better then making both feel comfortable and not have to worry at all. What I like about being a caregiver is the fact that I would want the same in return when it came to my family so I know how it feels to not want to worry about my loved ones when I'm away. A personal achievement that I am very proud of is the fact that I do make people feel very comfortable naturally. I went medical school and graduated with high Academic honors. To some it up I know that I would want the same for someone caring for my family.

I'm pursuing a job in care giving because I have a heart for the elderly. It's a very vulnerable time in a persons life, I understand that, and would take great pride and care in being the one who "has their back" while their family is away. I'm an old soul myself who was raised in a loving, Christian home full of laughter, music and softball. I'm light hearted, I like to sing (I'm not great but I can carry a tune), I enjoy the outdoors, I love animals and I like shopping among many other things. Although I've never been a caregiver before, I'm a seasoned mama of two daughters ages 17 and 24 who are wonderful and beautiful young ladies and a grandson who's 3 that have given me plenty of practice in the caring and nurturing department. I love giving assistance to elderly people & help them with everyday activities like preparing meals, running errands, making beds, buying groceries, bathing, administering treatments, and handling the laundry. I enjoy becoming a companion and making a difference in people's lives.
