I became a caregiver because I love to help others. What I like most about being a caregiver is helping elderly people and making them feel safe and secure. A personal achievement I am proud of is when I was working for a stroke patient. The left side of her body was almost completely dead after her stroke and I worked with her and gained most of her strength back on her left side. Something about me, I've been a caregiver for over 10 years now and still love what I do. I'm responsible, very organized and love to help other.

Have experience with wound care, hospice, incontinence, sundowners syndrome, diabetes, stroke patients, Alzheimer’s, dementia, nebulizer inhaler, urinary catheter, distributing medications, meal preparation, transferring, transporting patient, and assisting with hygiene matters. I'm compassionate, patient, efficient, trustworthy, and a stickler about cleanliness, and very organized, enjoy sharing laughs. Background check for DOJ/FBI, Live in South San Jose, have valid driver’s license, with current car insurance, and have a perfect driving record.

I became a caregiver in hopes of letting someone know that they aren't a client, but family. Being a caregiver isn't just about taking care of only a persons needs physically, but their needs emotionally and psychologically. I inspire to create a bond stronger than that of a mere employer-employee relationship.

Hello everyone! My name is Jael Ramirez! I am currently a college student studying Nursing at Foothill college. I have been working as a caregiver for a few months and I have enjoyed it! I hope these opportunities will give me the proper experience needed to become a good caring nurse. I have many personality traits that I believe are essential for caregiving such as being communicative, caring, gentle and understanding.
