Hi My Name Is Mahogonney Hooper I am 26yrs old.I am a very fun and out going person who love to make other's smile and happy.I'm very easy to work with and get along with.I'm a very Hard and dedicated worker.I sometimes go above and beyond in the tasks that Iam given.I love working in this field love making my elders feel young and enjoy the rest of life they have I've been taking care of my great grandmother since I was 11before she passed and I just been doing it every since.It's something I love and something I see doing forever.I don't look at it as my job but as my duty to make them feel amazing.

I am a great caregiver because I have alot of empathy for the patient. I have a positive attitude, punctual, eager to work. I really love to interact with the patients and try to make their day just a little bit better. I have worked in the medical field for over 30 years and have loved every minute of it. I am now retired but am willing to help someone out.

I am a very upbeat and happy person. I love to make people smile, laugh and enjoy life. I am kind, patient, dependable, honest, trustworthy, gentle, hard working, intelligent, compassionate, understanding, and have a great sense of humor. I love animals, all of them! My favorite place to be is outdoors, primarily hiking and swimming. I truly enjoy meeting new people. I also love spending time with my family, friends, and pets. I enjoy reading, writing, board and card games, movies, cleaning, cooking. When my fraternal grandmother entered a care home when I was 12, I went to visit her every day. I was shocked to see how many elderly patients had no one who visited them. So I unofficially became a volunteer and would visit other residents; reading to them, talking, playing games, dancing, whatever brought a little joy back into their lives. Caregiving has been a part of my life ever since. I took care of my maternal grandmother who had severe rheumatoid arthritis and Dementia in her home until she passed away. I then moved my mother in with me when she was first diagnosed with Alzheimers and cared for her until her death 10 years later. I also cared for one of my brothers who was diagnosed with end stage Dementia at the age of 58 and passed away right before his 61st birthday. So I completely understand what loved ones must go through as family members become older, sick, or suffer from an injury. What I enjoy most about being a Caregiver is simply helping someone who needs it, especially if it allows them to remain in their own home. A personal achievement that I am proud of is raising such loving, kind, respectful, and amazing children.

I am a natural caregiver. I am the mother to three wonderful teenage boys and was lucky to stay home with them for about a eight years. When I went back into the workforce, I began to work with adults with different disabilities and found a calling.

My name is Kayla and I am a 19 year old Psychology major with my heart in social work. I am currently a full-time student at my college with a steady GPA and a love for helping others. Over the years, we thought we were just doing what we needed to to survive. I worked my way up to be a casino executive while my daughter relearned the majority of her motor functions and had several major surgeries as we strove for her to be just a regular "kid". Unbeknownst to me, I was acquiring a wealth of knowledge and experience which would prove invaluable for myself and my clients in years to come. At four years old, my daughter was paralized from Guillaime Barre Syndrome. At that time, this Syndrome was so rare, especially in pediatric patients, that several doctors would stop by our hospital room just to have a look at this frail, tiny girl. Unfortunately, that also meant that doctor's didn't have alot of information about my daughters illness for me either. From that point forward, as any nurturing mother would do, I set out to learn as much as I could, and do whatever was within my power to facilitate the healing process for her. This journey brought me from St. Josephs' Childrens Hospital and the Barrow Neurological Institute to the Shriner's Childrens Hospital, and finally after a relocation to Las Vegas, to the private medical community in this city. During this time, I found that I had generally acquired more knowledge of the syndrome than a lot of the medical personnel we were encountering. Not only of this particular syndrome, but of insurance policy's, pre existing conditions, medications and the intricacies of the pharmaceutical industry, patient insurance billing, authorization and co pays, to mention just a small portion. This lifetime of education bestowed upon me has been an invaluable tool in my caregiving career. Thus in turn, it has also benefitted each client I have had over the past ten + years as a caregiver.

I have been a caregiver all of my adult life, over 30 years. I was the oldest grandchild in my family and TRUELY loved being around my grandparents. I love to hear stories about what life was like "in the old days". I love to learn from my elderly clients - 1 client years ago taught me how to crochet. I enjoy helping elderly & disabled clients be as independent as they can/want to be. I love to cook and learn/collect recipes. I've worked in several caregiving settings - nursing homes, in-home hourly & live-in, and teaching assistant. I don't like working in nursing homes because there's no time for one-on-one. I have 1 year of RN training, am a certified Medical Assistant, was a CPR & 1st aid instructor and an EMT. I also have hospice experience.

I became a CNA in the beginning of 2013 as a first step to becoming an RN. I fell in love with taking care of people, no matter their age or health/mental state. It's just so rewarding. I do plan to finish my schooling but in the meantime I am happy to help. I'm A very happy young woman who is reliable and upbeat.

my ex had a 6 year old son that was non verbal artistic son and i became his caregiver and then my uncle became ill and he hired me as his Caregiver. And i like the fact of just being able to help people in their everyday activities and being able to function on a daily basic skill to be able to feel good about themselves and to know that thy have someone to be therefor them.well i keep my ex son from the time he was six to age 17 it was a challenge learning to communicate with him. Because i did't know how to sign or nothing about autism at all had never heard of it really. I am a person that is always trying to help others been do it all my life really.And i enjoy doing it help with cleaning cooking and laundry and etc.

I have always enjoyed working with senior citizens. As a young teenager in middle school I volunteered at senior centers. I've tried other jobs and always end up coming back to Home Care.

I used to take care of my great grandma who had Alzheimer's. I love helping people and spending time with them. I was the first person in my family to go and finish college

I discovered early in life that my caregiver attributes came naturally to me which I inherited from my grandmother whom had a heart as big as the great outdoors. She instilled qualities in me that I posses to this day. I believe being an outstanding caregiver requires compassion, empathy, and dedication to the job. I interact with my clients in a special way that not just anyone can. I fully enjoy the satisfaction of knowing that my care has personally contributed to an improved quality of life for my clients. For those whom know me best, I am considered to be very easy going, down to earth, patient, and kind. Although I do enjoy lots of laughter, I do take what I do as a Care Provider very seriously. In that I maintain a professional work ethic, punctuality, reliability, accountability, conscientiousness, courtesy, respectfulness, honesty, and cooperativeness. I believe in implementing the golden rule into my daily life. Personally speaking, it saddens me to see that not too many people do that anymore. I am a caring and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant with in-home care experience and skilled nursing facility care experience. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I have a clean driving record and am more than willing to run errands and prepare healthy meals. Cooking is another one of my passions!

I became a caregiver to care for my grandmother first then realized I am intereted in helping seniors. I love that I can care for people in their own homes or assisted facilities where they enjoy living on their own. I received my GED in 1985 while being a single mom. I then received my Administrators certificate in 2006, after working with seniors whom are developmentally disabled. I have multiple certificates of completed training, in caregiving related courses.

Becoming a caregiver was a given with my kind caring character. I started out young caregiving for the youth for 20 yrs and then my mother got very sick and had lot of medical issues. I felt it was my responsibility to take care of her to my best ability, I went to school and got my CNA certification and took care of her for 6 yrs till she passed away in 2014. This would be my greatest achievement that I am proud of. I have a passion for doing the best at whatever my job may be. I enjoy being around people and sharing their memories or thoughts with them through out the day and helping them with their daily active duties.
