Hello, I have 13 plus yrs. of experience as a primer caregiver to my late husband who was disabled with a massive stroke. I am a compassionate, family oriented person and have expertise in caregiving to those in need from being my late husband's caregiver for more than a decade. Taking care of my husband and the influence of my spirituality motivated me to pursue caregiving as a profession. I enjoy being a trusted, empathetic companionship to someone seeking care as seeking care can be lonely and vulnerable. I wish to help those in need of care feel safe, looked after, and valued by the world. I first decided to be a caregiver after helping my parents care for my grandparents and then myself caring for my uncle and mother. I absolutely love what I do! I became a caregiver four years ago when I was seeking a position where I could help people. At the time I was going to art school but left after I began caregiving as I felt I had found a field where my friendliness and compassion could be better used. Ever since a little girl I would say about the age of 8 I would always wake up in the morning and remind my pawpaw to take his medication. I just had learn how to read and would be reading each and every one of his pill bottles to make sure the he was taking to correct pills for the time of the day. So when I though of a care giver position professional I thought of all of the other family I can help I thought of the elder people I can help who may not be able to help them selfs like they use to. One of the biggest thing I moody enjoy about being a care giver is the joy I can bring to them how I love when I see them smile and happy and such a delicate age. I'm personally proud of how much I have accomplished for myself only being 19 years old I'm also proud of how I want stop pushing myself to do more and grow.

My grandmother suffered from chf and has diabetes. I have worked caring for her for a year since I recently stoped working as a phlebotomist. I like to help those that can not help themselves. It's my personality to promote positive self-esteem so I naturally encourage it to clients. I'm proud of my college goals and accomplished credits. I am a current student at nightingale Healthcare Professionals CNA program I'm schdueled to take my license exam on 1/14/2015. I'm interning at Shields skilled nursing facility also Chaparal house nursing home CA. I am attentive and detailed oriented I am compassionate about my work as a caregiver.
