I became a caregiver because of my mom and because I love doing it. I lived in a Board & Care Facility with my mother where she works when I was young. I watched her take care of them and eventually learned from her. What I like about giving care is that I know that I'm helping an individual and it makes me happy and I'm sure that I make them smile too. I took care of a wonderful lady for almost 3 years, I was not just her caregiver because we became close friends and that would be my personal achievement. She recently passed away and I now am seeking for a job. I am 24 years old with 6 years of experience in the field. I may not be a good cook but I do try my best. Everyday is a learning process.

Hi my name is Barbara and I've been a caregiver for eight years and I love what I do. I cook I do love light housekeeping love to spend time with the client play cards with the client like to go for long walks with the client. I know how to Check B/p,How to ck glucose, medication , injections etc my current job Im a Care Coordinator Specialist..I've worked as a pre-school teacher from 1988-2002. I did took care of my father before he passed away . As you can see I do have a big Heart .my job is to help those patients and treat them with respect andcompassion and respect.
