Hi ! If your looking for a caregiver who will care about your family member as much as you do, Im her ! I'm very passionate about older people & have a great respect for them. I enjoy their company & don't mind spending time with them, sometimes just letting them talk, listening to them, and conversing with them is also very therapeutic. Everyone wants to be heard and sometimes our elderly don't always get as much attention as they should. I have a great sense of humor, I'm easy going but can be firm if I need to be (in regards to taking meds or exercises, etc) . I understand that at times everyone has a bad day, needs to vent or is just cranky, Im very patient and will try to lighten the situation and lighten it up with a joke or just offering kind words or helpful advice. Im extremely clean and organized and pay close attention to details : I'm good at cleaning, laundry and a decent cook, not a grand chef but I can prepare a meal. Separating meds into weekly pill boxes, schedules & making appointments are no problem. Im also a Christian so if your family member is too, I don't mind connecting with them on that level. Im very conscious person when it comes to dealing with the feelings of the elderly, there are times with dementia when they can be embarrassed or feel humiliated for forgetting something, there are also other situations when a patient may have an issue with incontinence and have a bad accident. These times can be very embarrassing and humiliating, Im good at making a bad situation better. I was in the same or similar situation with my mother & I know how very stressful and difficult it can be finding good care for someone you love, all you can do is try to find that right person, hope for the best & hope it all works out . I hope you will put your trust and faith in me, Im honest, always do the right thing, caring, loving and will treat your family member like they are one of my own. Julie ~

Im a great caregiver because I actually do my job and love it. I always loved being around elderly people. Their spirit is always up and the words of wisdom they give out. I always get the job done and always make time to get to know my clients. So they can trust and respect me.I just love helping people in areas. Where their not able to help themselves. I love doing my work. I started care giving when my father got sick in 2014. I basically took care of him til his death bed. So I know the ropes. I love taking care of the elderly people, it is a very important part of life. Our elders have contributed to our world and I feel it's important to take care of them in there older years.

I'm young but I learn quickly, I've worked inside of a care facility a while back but as a hairdresser and became really interested in helping out as much as possible after my grandmother passed. She loved having someone there for her and I hope I can help someone else in the same way. I just want to leave a positive impression in my lifetime and I feel like helping people that can't quite help themselves is the best selfless thing anyone could do.

I am very patient and understanding, I love my job I have been a caregiver for 7 years and it was one of my first jobs after high school. I love to be a helping hand or companion as a caregiver. I am currently in school for Psychology and hope to soon get a doctorates degree after my bachelor's degree

Hello! My name is Courtney. I believe I'm a great caregiver because I'm truly passionate about what I do! I wanted to be in the medical field from a young age, as I was always doctoring my friends and family's bumps and bruises! I love helping people, and I enjoy the feeling of being apart of something bigger than myself.

I was primarily raised by my grandparents in Redding California where I currently reside. As they got older, they both developed a range of health issues, I stepped up to the plate and returned the same care they had provided for me all those years. My grandmother Silvia had Alzheimer's disease along with type 2 diabetes and had endured a series of strokes. She was also wheelchair bound and needed assistance with everyday life. My grandpa Jay also had type 2 diabetes along with poor circulation and heat issues. I truly enjoy caring for others in any way that i can.

I love caregiving with any emphasis on assisting elderly to continue living a full life to the extent that they are able. I had pursued a career in insurance which is now incompatible with my family & look forward to a return to caregiving.
