Within that period of time I have establish amazing rapport with my clients as well as the family. Some of the values that I go by is communication, consistency and lastly making sure that the client and the family are as comfortable as possible. I am open minded to learning new ways of providing care for each and every individual. I like to provide a safe inviting fun environment for each of my clients.

I have worked in customer service as a host and later on as a server for the majority of my adult life. I also have experience in childcare and elderly care. I worked closely with Alzheimer's and dementia residents at Somerford Place, an Alzheimer's and memory care facility. Through all of my experience working with children, restaurant guests and elderly Alzheimer's residents, I have learned to be patient and understanding. From serving, i learned not to rush a guest into completing their order, but instead to guide them towards what will make their stay enjoyable, I took this same patience into my work at Somerford Place. Though I was only there for a short time, due to scheduling issues, I learned how to go at the residents' pace, how to allow them to take their time and to try to complete a task on their own to promote their independence. I am a strongly detail oriented person, and I can manage many tasks at once. I've always had an interest in working in the medical field. Currently I am in school to become an LVN with the possibility of continuing on the be a registered nurse. I feel that being a caregiver is a great way of getting to really know the needs of patients and residents so that I can carry on that knowledge as a nurse. The best thing about being a caregiver is getting to know my residents and learning about their experiences in life, and feeling like I add something positive in their lives is the best feeling.

Hello my name is Hannah Curiel, I go to Reedley College full time. I have my CNA license and have been a CNA for 2 years now. I also used to work for a private family and I loved everything about it. I do have experience working with dementia patients, I also have one year of experience of ASL. I am CPR certified and infant certified, I do have a lot of patience for others and love God also I'm a big animal lover.

Being a caregiver comes from within. I became a caregiver when I moved to Madera, Ca. My fathers side of the family had residential care facilities and I was introduced to the residents and throughout the years and with daily interaction, we formed a connection. As I got older I began caring for them by staying over night, prepared dinner, assisted and gave baths, administered medication, kept rooms clean and well organized, escorted and transported to various appointments. I enjoy being a caregiver because I've been around individuals who really need help and once you help it just lights up their day. Seeing someone smiling is the best gift. It makes me feel as if I'm doing something right. A personal achievement that I'm proud of is being able to help my own mother in times of discouragement and she telling me, "I know I can always count on you." Being a mother of 3 little girls, I live to nurture and love those girls as well as keep them safe. I don't do it because its my job, but because I want to and I do it with no effort. I believe it's the same way with a resident.

I have my CPR card and CNA and medical assistant degree. I work well with others and I have three pulse year of experience in caregiving and work with Auspice home care as well.

My mother is a caregiver and I decided to be a caregiver after high school. I have experience working as a caregiver in a facility and also privately. I have experience with the elderly and also special needs.

I have not become a caregiver officially, but I would love to become a caregiver to help, assist, listen, and make life of the individual easier. I have completed my pharmacy course and have a pharmacy tech certification. I work hard and love to help and engage myself in being a good person in people's lives.

My heart makes me a great caregiver. I've been taking care of people since I was 4 years old, so it's safe to say now at 30 I think I have some experience. I said my heart because caring for others isn't as easy as one may think. When caring for someone other than yourself, you have to put them first. You have to be sure they have what they need before you can think to get yourself what you want. The fact that I can make someone's day by helping them complete day to day task makes my heart smile with glee! Keeping someone company so they don't feel all alone is one of the main things that drive me to become a caregiver. Sometimes our families and friends get busy with their own lives they must live, and that's where I come in at, rather it's watching the A's game or the soap operas, it's always fun doing it with someone that cares. The best part about cargiving is knowing that I am doing my part to make a families life a little easier by assuring the care I prove is efficient. Aiding that family in breathing easier knowing their loved one is in great hands makes it all worth it in my opinion. One of my greatest achievements in my life is becoming a mother. Now that I am a single mother, I have the greatest, most important job of them all, and that's always to do better than I did before. One of my personal achievements I am proudly looking forward to is graduating college in 2020 with my daughter cheering me on. She's my greatest achievement hands down.

I am 61 years old, raised by great parents that cared for their own parents. I am a mild mannered, clean, caring, kind and respectful. I am a great cook (Owned Restaurant). I am able to live in with the right parameters. I like to work a lot. Also I cared for my parents, both of whom have passed on. My Father had ALS for 4 years and my Mother had Diabetes. I have also cared for others. I like being a caregiver because I want to help others that are experience difficult struggles, the same that I will someday encounter. Achievements: I am very proud of my two grown children and THEIR accomplishments. My son is a former Major League Baseball player and now a successful self employed Certified Financial Planner. My 28 year old Daughter is a Forensic Psychologist with the U.S. Marshals in Washington D.C. and finalizing her Doctorate at George Washington University in Washington D.C. Also, I created a startup in 1986. It was an International Consulting and Procurement Company and I worked and lived in Italy, Spain, Taiwan and South Africa. I will need care someday, but until then I would like to provide and care for others as I hope someday to receive. I loved my parents and those that I have cared for, and know that God wants me to continue down this path. In addition, my flexibility to work nights or in a live in environment. Kevin
