I am a very responsible worker, very puntual, very honest, and caring with the patients and family members, I have 18 years of experience on all fields, i also work w/Alzheimer clients or dementia, do vital signs,medication reminders, pamper change, showering the client, cooking, walking, light cleaning, I can use a hoyer lift, medication reminders and also how to communicate with clients family members

I want to become a caregiver/nurse because I have always enjoyed taking care of others. I am looking for a job that is challenging and rewarding. I enjoy making a difference in the lives of others. I enjoy the opportunity to impact client's lives and make a difference to them. Taking care of sick people/elderly that needs my help gives joy in my heart and seeing a smile of appreciation over just a small deed that I do, appreciate the chance to get to know the client's and their families & become an important part of their lives. I am a people person and I love to work with older/sick people because I gain so much knowledge. As a student nurse, I have had the opportunity to work / cared for different types of patients. The combination of my work experience & knowledge make me confident that I will be really a good fit for this job. I am a people person. I am highly capable & dependable, professional with good values, compassionate and caring. After taking care of my mother in-law who died of breast CA, I realized that this is a profession that I am good at & passionate about. I developed patience & empathy, qualities that make me a very good nurse/caregiver. Having finished school with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is one of my personal achievements that I am really proud of.

I am a retired Caregiver with over 35 years of experience. I acquired my experience by working in Hospitals, Home Care Agencies, as a Private Caregiver and Caregiving for family members. My Mother steered me in this direction when I was around 8 years old, by having me help her older friend that was just discharged from the hospital & Caregiving has been my calling since. As we age and live by ourselves, it's not as easy to take care of ourselves & we may need some helping hands, that are trustworthy, to remain in our home. I have a nurturing personality and find much satisfaction helping someone continue to remain in their home.

Caregiving gives me sense of accomplishment in as where I can truly contribute to the well being and comfort of a client. I enjoy day to day contact and adapt to my client's needs and wellness. It may sound old fashioned, but I enjoy the art of crochet, making gifts for friends and family. I once won the 1st place Blue Ribbon and Best Of Show at our local County Fair. I am the proud mother of 2 adult children, including 2 teen grandsons. I adore my 2 Maltese/Poodle mix dogs. Up until recently, I was employed at our fifth generation, community centered, 48 year old family bakery, located in SF's historic Mission District. Sadly, my mother retired at the age of 80.

Being a caregiver can be a rewarding experience. I have a passion for putting others in need first. It is a set of intrinsic qualities that certain human beings possess and others do not. It is all about personality and how that personality fits with the patient and the members of their family. It’s just as simple and just as complicated as that.

Hello my name is Desire in I absolutely love my job as a caregiver, I started out taking care of my grandma in eventually became my daily work. I love helping in giving back, helping taking care of seniors in making their life as comfortable as possible. I'm very outgoing, very down to earth and great with people I'm also reliable and work hard.

Respect the elderly, Care for them as i would care for my Grandparents. I am raised as the eldest daughter to care for my family physically. My mothers blind to this day, and both my grandparents passed within the last 2 years to Cancer. And i was the care provider. Comforting them, Loving, Support with every day living. 3 different people with interest in activities. My grandmother loves bingo so i take her 3 times a week. While my grandfather loves going to the pool hall, Doesn't like taking the car but rather rides the city bus. My mother on the other hand is the queen of traditional baking and food who loves sharing her recipes with the world. So putting all my skills together not only professionally. But l have learned from the best. How to Care because its personal to me and i understand and i have been through the pain of seeing someone you love going through a lot and the best you can do is be there. I do not have a high school diploma or attended a CNA school. But i am good, i learned and i lived. Wishing i had the chance to go to school. But my family came first. I am blessed to have taken care of what was my responsibility were. And i would love to share and be able to care for others as i have learned to care for mine own family.

My name is Evelyn I became a caregiver 10 years ago it started with taking care of my disabled mother whome i still take care of till this day and I also recieved my CNA certificate and I am currently enrolled in school now to recieve my Home Health Aid. Being a caregiver is has always been my passion I love helping people especially eldery people because they always have good stories and expeiences to share with me. What makes me a great caregiver is 16 years experience. I've provided care to seniors/elderly, children, and adults. My experience is a wide scope of phyiscal and mental disabilities. Autism, cerebral palsy, MS, dementia, cancer, parkinsons, depression. I started my career as a caregiver providing much needed care to my Mom. At that time I them realized the need for care to seniors. I'm very passionate about what I do I believe in caring for all the same way I did for my Mom.
