I am an excellent caregiver and medical attendant because I have a natural gift for treating people, especially the elderly, with the respect and care they need and deserve. I entered the healthcare field as a second career and am sensitive to what it takes to be mature, dependable, and attentive to the responsibilities of the job. As I surveyed all the possibilities when choosing a field within the healthcare industry I tried several of them and found that caring for our aging population to be the most rewarding for my particular set of skills. Growing up as part of a big extended family taught me a great lesson about taking care of one another. My biggest responsibility was to make sure that my grandparents got everything they need and I remember that I used to look forward to run to them whenever I got home from school.
