Hello. My name is Patty. I have been a caregiver for over 10 yrs . I started when my best friend was diagnosed with ALS. After she passed away, I went back to school to become a CNA and Hhc so I could specialize in caring for patients with ALS and the elderly patients. Since then, I have cared for 4 additional people who have all been diagnosed with ALS. Between in home care, doctors visits and hospital stays I have been with these amazing people every step of the way through this debilitating disease. I am a caring and loving person. I work hard and always go out of my way to take care of my patients. I have experience in tracheotomy breathing treatment's, G-TUBE care feeding, wound care, medications and other infections. I deal with Medicare and insurance companies. I am willing to drive and I enjoy being with my patients. There health and well being always come first..

I am patient and kind and I love to be of service to the needs. I am attracted to caretaking because I find that it is something I am passionate about, especially being a mother that comes with the amount of nurturing that is needed for this type of work. My fondest achievement was becoming a mother and loving and caring for two beautiful children.

I grew up caring for my younger disabled sister. My life experiences and passion led me to teaching children and then, elder care. I love being a Private Caregiver! I have always, my whole life, enjoyed being the the company of my Elders. I appreciate their Wisdom, and know that they are true teachers! In my high school years, I was heading to become a Special Education teacher. One of my first cousins was born with multiple special needs. I loved being with him, and learned so much from his innate wisdom. From that experience, I began volunteering with Special Needs children and young adults in my teen years. When I went to college, I got a little side-tracked, and did not actualize my dream. However, I soon became interested in Holistic Health, and for many years after my first year of college, I worked in Chiropractic Health Care. I was an office manager/ Chiropractic Assistant for 10 years. This launched me onto a path of healthy living, which includes eating healthy, staying active and fit, practicing Mindfulness, Yoga, Meditation and more. Many of my clients have been Dementia clients. Even my own beloved Mother, had Dementia. I was her one child that stepped in and took care of her from the time she was diagnosed, until her passing. I am so grateful for that experience with her. I am also a Chair Yoga teacher. Until the Pandemic, I was teaching, weekly at a local assisted living home. My passion is caregiving. Fully and completely. It is my Life Path. I enjoy being in Service to others. I love making a difference is other's lives by honoring everyone, no matter what differences, struggles or history they may have. I know for sure, that my little pebble of love in the ocean of one's life, has a rippling effect. I am so proud to have had the blessing to stay home for 20 years and raise my two children. They are now thriving, beautiful, compassionate, loving adults. This was a gift, which taught me unconditional selfless service. I am proud that my children and I have a very loving relationship, and so proud to see them out in the world making their own marks through love and compassion.

I am comfortable with most dogs and cats and will share in the light care of setting out food and water for your furry friend and taking your pet out for walks. My minimum rate is $24/hr. I have been in the medical field as a Medical Assistant for 44 years . I have worked closely with the elderly in Primary Care . I strive to make a difference in someone's life. I am kind and patient and a very hard worker. I treat people with dignity . My mother was a advocate for the elderly. Before she passed I promised to carry out her mission of love. My stepfather had Alzheimer's and I helped take care of him. I am a grandmother and great-grandmother to 10 wonderful kids that live in the East Valley. I take care of my 90 year old grandpa with feeding tube and he also has dementia. I feed him everyday at 12:30pm I am going to school to get my cna degree and it's on Tuesday and Thursday nights 5-9pm and Saturday 8 am to 2:30pm. I took care of my grandma and my great aunt with dementia
