I love to help people, of all ages.Having seen the difficulties that the elderly endure,I choose to assist them any way possible. The great joy I get get is when I made someone smile, and know they are well taken care of. I pride myself on the personal bond between myself and the resident. I believe in total honesty and empathy. I get attached to all of the residents I have taken care of.

I have been a nurse for 30yrs. I started my career as a caregiver, then cna, then lvn, and now Rn. I love nursing. I like helping people reach their goals and maximum potential. I have been retired the last 4yrs,but am seeking to re-enter work market.

I love helping the residents and talking with them about their lives and I grew up around caregiving

As a caregiver I am able to learn different roles of an individual, I get to gain a one in one experience. With that being said it allows me to be patient with the client for my future I will be able to take all that I took in one on one and apply it to multiple clients that I will come across. I decided to be a caregiver to give back to those in need.

I am a very compassionate, understanding, caring, helpful, CNA. I enjoy helping and providing care for my patients/residents. The most important thing about caring for my patients is safety at all times, during a procedure and if my patients/residents are happy and comfortable. I'm a very happy person always have a smile on my face, polite, love-giving, warm-hearted. Most importantly I'm honest, dedicated, kind, and punctual.

I want to become a caregiver because I worry about the elderly or any human in general that needs someone to help feed them, pick up their medicine, comfort them with a positive upbeat attitude, shower them, change them and make them feel overwhelmed that someone genuinely cares for them

I am outgoing and loveable. I enjoy working with people and most of all enjoy jobs where i can interact with others. I enjoy taking care of elder and would like to help others by giving the correct care. I like doing work where i can put potential to make a difference in someone’s life. I like doing differnet tasks in a day. I am type of person that can multi-task , and I don’t ever say, that’s not my job but instead like to ask what else is needed. Love making people smile and doing little things to make a person’s day better. Would want to be treated like others and i would like when i get older, have someone like me to be there to help me if i need the help. My achivements are i have a cpr and cpi certificate. I am study and attending school to become a preschool teacher.

Caring for someone in need and putting a smile on a person's face warms my heart, and the reason why I decided to become a caregiver. I am gentle, kind, and caring. I work well with others, I manage my time wisely; I like to get things done the right way. I am a currently a CNA and have my CPR certified.

Hello my name is Marisol Solis and I have been an experienced caregiver since a year after high school. I enjoyed it very much and I decided to get my degree in child development but with an emphasis on Gerontology because the university I am planning to go to doesn't have a program set up as of yet. I am very patient down to earth, friendly, trustworthy and loyal. Knowing that I have helped a senior with cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping, driving them to their doctor's appointments, is very rewarding to me. What I enjoy about being a caregiver is the history behind these individuals, the stories, it is very interesting to me. My highest achievement that I am proud of is gaining the client's trust and knowing they can count on me for assistance.

I always show great compassion and care when dealing with people. Whether they be family of patients or the patient themselves. I am a people person and can handle both a fast paced and slow environment. I create a calm and soothing sense with any physical presentation. I'm interested in this job opening that you and your family has available. I am a experienced energetic you female that has 7 years of hand on with an elder patient. I have a lot of knowledge and time with a couple of different elders with different special needs... But there's a lot more I need and want to still learn. .. I'm a trustworthy, kind, caring, loving, friendly, helpful, considerate, organized and has a big hearts. I will give you loves one the best care that you exspect them to have. When it comes to elders I know they can sometimes be stubborn, ignorant, hyper, sad or even lonely. They attend corporate better with us nurse then family members. My experience started when I was working my full time job and always getting off work to see my sick friend who had a brain aneurysm and needed that extra help so I made a decision to be there for him full time to help him in his needs and bring him back to health , taking his pills and making sure he's eating . It was a learning experience but happy to help and I wish to expand with other. I would like to become a caregiver because I've watched my aunts do it over the years and gain relationships & knowledge from others. I enjoy listening i was a peer counselor at walnut high school & ive enjoyed listening to other people's struggles or achievements. I find you learn a lot more it the world when you're listening.

In an uncertain world, helping others is such a gratifying way to make a positive difference--it means the world to me to be able to make someone who has lived a long, rich life more comfortable and safe, to nurture and support them. My experience, over the last eight years or so, includes supporting occupational, physical, and speech therapy; assisting with walking and other daily tasks; coordinating care among several staff; and preparing and organizing meals while accounting for a range of sensitivities and tastes (I truly love to cook). I'm a very fast learner, flexible, prompt, tidy and conscientious. I am currently working toward earning my CNA license, and expect to have it by the end of 2020.

I attend persons needs, am a great listener and I am wee organized. I care for persons who can't care for themselves. I enjoy caring for persons well being and saftey. Person achievement I'm proud of is becoming a certified nurse assistant.

I have been a licensed Psychiatric Technician since 1981 with a wide background of experience and nursing care. When moved to Morro Bay in 2018 - I obtained my Certified Home Health Aide Certificate from the State of California and decided to use that - at this time in my life where it is more pleasant to deal with a person on a one-to-one basis only. I have multi-cultural experience. I have dealt with a wide variety of people and have learned to be flexible as well as resourceful in order to identify needs, issues, objectives and plans for such objectives. My parents are 96 and 95 and still in good health. They taught me about the golden age of movies, their past, WW2, and the importance of family. I am able to communicate clearly and am familiar with medical terminology and insurance terms as well. I am able to access for medication effectiveness, signs and symptoms of illnesses, body checks, and take vital signs daily as a base for my end of shift charting - even if that is just for the sake of family or to leave at house for client to be available for emergency. I have current CPR. A certification in Anger Management, I have a certification in Gero Psych nursing from University of Irvine Medical Center, I still retain a current LPT license, a current first aid certificate. I am now a part of the San Luis Obispo County IHSS (In Home Support Services )- I was told that I also now qualify as a veterns relief - respite care worker as per Carelinx. I do work part time for Maxim Health Care services. and I do have current references.

Being a caregiver comes naturally its all about the other person and not myself. I enjoy helping others in any way i can and when that can be done it truly makes me happy inside to know i can give back in a way. Since the age of 12 i have pursued the nursing field because there is always someone in need of help, and what better way to do that than with love and patience.
