I am currently a nursing student at Los Angeles Harbor College. LAHC is one of the best nursing school in California. I am trained to take care of patient in the hospital as a nursing student. I did my clinicals at Little Company of Mary San Pedro. I am First Aid, CPR, AED, BLS provider, Heartsaver BloodBorne Pathogen certified.

After caring for my Grandfather for somtime before he passed, I decided that caregiving was what I wanted to do as a career. I have a sincere passion for the elderly and find it very rewarding to work with them. I have over 10 years as a Certified Nurse Asst. and home healthcare provider and extensive experience with Alzheimer patients and Hospice care. I am reliable, caring, a Navy Veteran, Christian and dedicated to providing the best care and comfort possible to my clients.

What makes me a great caregiver? I treat my clients as if they were my family. I treat them how'd I like to be treated or my family. This is a very personal and intimate position. I like to make my clients laugh and be their friend . After all we are spending a lot of hours together. Making them feel young again. Always up to try new things together. Like foods , activities & music . While providing a safe and professional setting . I enjoy helping people when the time is necessary. I enjoy caregiving because our seniors and people disabilities matter . They don't have to be closed off . They are just like everyone else . They just need a little assistance . I learned to love being a caregiver when my own family member needed caregiving assistance & I feel like someone who loves what they do is just the right person for that job . Hi my name is Juniper Coleman my origins are from Venice , Westchester and Inglewood. during my moving to different locations, I was about 6-10 years old, when I would stop by grandparents house for a visit , help her with the little chores dust the dining room table , walk the dogs , feed the kitties , check the bird feeder, wipe down the sink , go to the store, bring back groceries and put them away. Since her passing of Ovarian cancer, I had previously volunteered and worked for my moms 3 clients through IHSS (In-Home Supportive Services) I insisted my help when it comes to cooking their Breakfast, lunch , Snack , Dinner , and other priorities such as laundry. A few months ago I had a client that is paraplegic and preferred someone from a family household "ethics,morals,values, respect etc." that's what I strongly believe in this day of age or generation.

Patient........People who need care often take longer to complete simple tasks. Compassion.........Empathetic and understanding

I am a loving and caring person, who knows that we all have one thing in common and that is feelings. I know the importance of treating someone less unfortunate with respect. Acknowledging at all times that we are all humans therefore deserve to be treated with respect. When caring for an elderly person, I always think of it as it were my mother or father. Making sure their safety is first at all times. I will always put their safety above mine, being a caregiver is not only a job but it's a commitment you do to the person whom you're caring for. I am an honest, trust worthy, hard worker, loving, caring, responsible, reliable and most importantly devoted.

What makes me a great caregiver is the fact that I like to be more than a caregiver for my patients. I like them to feel that as far as a caregiver, I'm their friend and will always be willing to listen and help them. My compassionate instinct made me to become a caregiver, and because I think our elderly deserve the best care and companionship. What I enjoy about being a caregiver is that it's always a surprise, you always meet very loving, interesting and great people.

I have a associate degree in Bus management, I have a certificate in EKG and Monitor Technician and I went to school for nursing but did not finish it because I get married and have kids.

Hello My name is Lisa and I love being a caregiver because I love helping people. I originally started caregiving with my grandparents. I felt they had done so much for me in my life that the least I could do for them in return was be there to help them out and for companionship. I would help them with shopping and cooking&cleaning and assisting them in whatever they needed. I also would be there to keep them company. I loved hearing stories of their youth and since I love history I loved hearing stories of how society had changed over the years. I have also been a caregiver for my stepfathers mother who had dementia. She needed more assistance than my grandparents. I would help her bathe and get dressed and assist her to restroom. In addition I have been a caregiver for an elderly woman in my neighborhood. I help her with shopping and cleaning and also serve as a companion for her. I feel very fulfilled helping out with my elders. As we all will grow old we need someone to help us out and for companionship.

I am a friendly, energetic, person that loves working with people especially in the medical/caregiving field. I am very empathetic, and have a huge amount of patience, which I think are so key in dealing with the sick, the elderly and the young. I have been interested and involved in the medical/caregiver field all my life even taking care of my Alzheimer grandfather when I was just 10. ( I was the only one in the family with the patience and aptitude!) I think this is ultimately what drew me to the field is my love and compassion for the hurt, the young, and the elderly. I truly love being a caregiver, medical personnel and it shows in the care I give my patients. I have a high standard for myself and strive to treat my patients as well as I would my family, in fact I have considered many of my patients as my family and have kept in contact with them after care, or with family members after the patient passes. I have taken care of some very extreme patients ie; quads in wheelchairs and on ventilators, I am comfortable with all levels of care for my patients from the low level needs, to high intensive needs and have a vast knowledge to work with all of these types of patients.

I am a responsible and respectful person. I cafe a lot for my elders and nothing makes me more happy than seeing a smile on their face.

Hello, my name is Monica. I have been a CNA/caregiver for 3 years. I am an outgoing and compassionate person. I enjoy being a companion and listening to all the great stories people have to share about life. I like helping others and caregiving is a great way to do that.

I am a caring, compassionate and dedicated person. It makes me feel emotionally rewarded to make a difference in the lives of others who I can help. I have experience from taking care of sick family members who have passed from Alzheimer's and cancer.

What separates me from other caregivers is that I am passionate to help others. For me caregivers they see this only as a job, but for me I see this as a chance to help someone in need. The reason why I chose to become a caregiver and become a CNA was, because I wanted to help others. Many people think that is easy to their help love ones in time of need, but in reality it is hard work. That is why I have chosen to be part of the Healthcare industry to help those families that want to help their loves one by being home and taking care of them but they simple cannot because of their busy schedule. Not only I like the part of helping the family and their loves ones, but I like the part when they are happy, when the love one is doing well. As a experience CNA I have witness a lot of cases. Some of my personal achievements that I am proud of is as a CNA see my patience go back home, because they are healthy enough to be with their loves ones again. Just the thought that they are happy once again is all a CNA can ask for.

I enjoy caring for people, especially those that need me the most. There are several people without a social support and if I can help expand that a bit, it makes my day. I am open minded and have a huge personality. I love to laugh and have a positive thinking.
