I became an in home Caregiver after realizing how much a difference it made, when my parents needed it! Taking care of others at their most vulnerable state is a privilege that I do not take lightly. During my time working as a CNA in the ICU I was able to connect a mother and son through arranging a Skype call before Skype was easy to do The mother and son were able to say goodbye. I love people and enjoy listening to people talk about their life and memories.

I became a caregiver after assisting a close friend during his bout with cancer. I love the sense of accomplishment I get when I hear "Thank you" after helping someone. I am proud to say that I was one of three people at Laradon Hall who could work in any program. I was born without an elbow in my left arm which I believe gives me a certain understanding of what it's like to be labelled by society.

I am an artists with a lot of passions in life. I enjoy hiking, ballroom and salsa dancing, skiing, fishing, gardening, nature, games, music, photography, plays and musicals. I am getting close to my BA in fine arts. I really enjoyed Cultural Anthropology, Philosophy, Ethics, Biology, in fact I love College. I love all animals! After breast cancer and other life hardships, I have realized the important things in life are about people, relationships and love. Because of this I have done well as a caregiver. With each new person I look for what helps make them feel safe and secure along with what they look forward each day. Also I pay attention to when to be quiet, when to give them their quiet time, when to listen. I love to bring smiles and laughter and I love to love. Domestic: I do not do a sloppy job in cleaning and don't mind yard work or poop scooping. I have knowledge of healthy cooking and can follow any recipe.
