I would describe my personality as quiet and somewhat shy. I have always found it rewarding to work with the elderly. I also like the fact the I am able to build a relationship with the people I care for. I think that my ability to pay attention to detail and always insure safety is what makes me a good caregiver. A personal achievement I am proud of would be obtaining my associates degree during the pandemic.

Hi! My name is Lynn and I am the proud mother of 3 successful young women and a grandmother of 4, 2 sweet boys and 2 furry dogs! I am passionate about family and caregiving. As my children grew up and moved on to their own lives, I still had the need to care. I was an LPN and then a stay at home mom until my girls were old enough and then started working as a home care aid. It was seamless transition, as my girls were happy that I had others to share my nurturing with. I have cared for many since 2005 and my references of families of the clients, who I have treated like my own family, will attest.

I'm very good at caring for others and have always wanted to be a nurse. The appreciation from clients and the feeling of knowing that you are helping people transition from one situation to the other for me is priceless. My first client was given a couple of weeks to live by her Dr. When I took over her care, she lived three more years. I love what I do because it has taught and helped me to be a better person. I enjoy the Geriatric population and I learn a lot from them! I find them very interesting and fun and I especially enjoy bringing laughter and quality to their lives. I sincerely care about the elderly and I'm an advocate for them.
