I became a caregiver when I started caring for my grandmother as a young girl. It was not easy when I first started but I like the fact that caregiver needs patience to care for his or her client, which has helped me in my personal life. I have work as a caregiver for five years and I love this job because of how I put smile on people face, helping people in their daily lives. I have work with clients with Alzheimer's, Parkinson, Dementia, Stroke, Diabetes, Cancer and a lot more. I am also interested in furthering my education and becoming a nurse practitioner.

1. Im a caregiver because I love to help the sick and to assist those that cant do for themselves. I have a deep passion to cater for the needs and demands of those that are ill, sick , and disabled .I like being a care giver because it feels good to know that Im making life easier for someone else. Furthermore, Im very proud to be licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant, and Certified Medicine Technician in the state of Maryland. Im very kind, careful and patient. I truly love to help those in need that are sick and cant do for themselves. I plan on continuing my education in the health care field and a set major is Health Care Informatics. I want to earn a bachelors degree.

Hello there, I am a Home Health aid and A CNA. I love to help others, most esp when they r sick because I've seen so many family members around me, close to death n who are dead bc of reckless care given to them. It pushed me to get into the medical field and make a difference. I am patient with the elderly, I am dependable, hardworking and easy to love. I am also a new mother of twins, adding to my resume of multitasking lol. Being a mom makes me proud, as well as Graduating this year with a nursing degree. As I study for my Boards, being a nursing assist, makes me happy, and give me a sense of accomplishment most esp when I put a smile on my patients.

I am a registered nurse for a year,very caring caregiver, I was a certified nursing assistant for almost 10years. I am actually working at Americare Home health care, visiting patients at their house., doing wound care, supervision, giving medications, teaching patients and family about meds and disease process. I love working with the elderly , I am patient and a good listener. I worked for the past years for some agencies , do ADLs , sometimes as companion. I like to treat others as the same as i will want someone to take care of my love ones.

I became a CNA after seeing my step mother sick. She required help with her daily basic needs, and I saw the help she was getting wasn't enough. I knew that what the caregivers were doing for her was not right nor enoigh. I love being a caregiver because I like communicating with the client, encouraging them to do what they can, and most importantly making them happy. I have come a long way in life. I was the first in my family to graduate High School and attend college which are my greatest accomplishments. I love helping others, that is why I have chosen to be a cna and continue my education in Nursing.

Nursing has always been my favorite field because of my compassionate and warm heart. I've always enjoyed helping others. I come from a family full of nurses and doctors, I love seeing the joy in others faces and hearts when receiving care. I'm currently in nursing school, enrolled in an Registered Nursing program where I will be graduating in 2017. I have been a Certified Nursing Assistant since 2013 and I also currently a Medication Technician with an CPR and First Aid. It's very easy for me to adjust because I am very understanding, caring, and reliable. I've always felt like it's just my job to do the right thing and make others happy. I get a warm feeling knowing I've done my job and everyone is happy.

I became a caregiver because I always loved helping all sorts of people young and old including the disabled as well. Also I have been around medicine and healthcare all my life because my father is a doctor and my mother is nurse. I got my training in 1998 from radians college in Washington d.c.. I have almost 20years of experience working as a CNA. Throughout my years I also uptained my phlembotomy certification,wound care experience,12 leads ekg training,iv placement,burns,critical care experience,shock trauma experience,n vital sings, specimen collection, blood draws,managerial experience. I started working in nursing in 1999 with the first company I worked for was nursefinders in sliver spring I worked there until 2005, the from there I worked for the center for pain management while working there I obtained my paramedic license and once I got that I started working for medstar Washington hospital center. while working at WHC I receive the medstar center superstar award for exceptial patient care and customer service and my picture was hung up on the wall of fame within my first 6 months of working there. Also while working there I was the PCT supervisor and phlembotomy instructor of all the new nurses and all the new PCTs that was hired. I love being around the elderly people, the fact that I'm giving a helping hand to someone in need is the reason why I love to be a cna, I'm proud of my career in the medical field that I'm achieving. I'm a very friendly, fun, caring and trustworthy individual I have respect for every person on earth, I love caring for the needy, it's my passion. Before I became a certified nurse assistant I was a child care provider, I used to take care of children 8 years and younger then I decided to try my love for the elder and I fall in love with my job I enjoy being there for someone, giving the support love and attention that they need.
