My name is Megan and I am a loving caregiver. After I watched my great grandmother suffer from cancer I stood by her bed and took care of her until her last friend. I worked alongside with hospice that stayed 24 hours to accompany her. I enjoy taking care of people who are no longer able to do it themselves. I am a single mom so I do have compassion, drive, flexibility, stability, patience and a friendly smile.

I enjoy helping older people and being able to make their day. I'm a very outgoing, positive and respectful person. I've loved caregiving every since I took care of my grandfather for a year when he lived with me and my family. I've learned a lot from caregiving and honestly it has changed me for the better. I enjoy being able to make a difference in someone's life.

What i like the most about caregiving is the ability to treat those as I would want myself to be treated in time of need. I find that with compassion, good listening skills and trying to understand and empathize with my clients not only does my client feel loved but learn that they can work towards a goal, increase their independance or have one that will help meet my clients needs . I find it extremely rewarding personally and always find new friends and family along this path.

I have been working in the medical field for over 25 years..I became a caregiver to my first clientt in 2011 and soon realized I was meant to do Caregiving to our Special Seniors or whomever may need this type of care .My first client eventually was in a nursing home for a period of 1 month. During that time, I had the desire to return to school and became a CNA. I truly enjoyed all the training and the experience that I received. I acquired a job with Visiting Angels in 2013. I have had some awesome experiences working with our senior citizens. I also have a daughter who is now 18 and has had a medical condition since she was 5 months old. I believe all of the experiences that I have had help me to be a very compassionate caregiver to my clients and my clients family. I at times have stayed in touch with family members even after their loved one has passed away. I have been working as a Nursing Assistant at our local Hospital for over a year and a half..I Love my position in taking care of those who need help while in the hospital..My daughter is now 20 and my oldest 23..Each BLESS my life daily!!

I became a caregiver because my aunt took sick with MS So i decided I would care for her so she wouldn't have to go in a home. I love what I do I love helping people and putting smiles on there faces. I am proud that I took on that assignment to be full time care giver it showed her the compassion I have for others the love I give and my endurance

I am a caregiver and nurturer by nature. My Nana was an RN and has been my inspiration since I was a little girl along with my passion for helping and caring for others. I truly believe my passion is my gift and I intend to continue using it to better the lives of others by giving them a sense of security during their time of need. I am compassionate, gentle, patient and kind, but both strong willed and physically strong, willing and able to take on most any task to help people in need. I am happiest when I am able to make others comfortable and happy during times of need or just to be an extra hand or along side for support.

I have experience taking care of couples as well as individuals, men, and women. I love dogs and have one at home. I do not take clients who smoke. I like the day or night shift, and I am available for work overnights for 8-12 hour shifts either in a home or in a facility. Also available days but I do not burn the candle at both ends. The age of my clientele has ranged from 3 to 104. Wherever you are I can go to get to you. If you are in a facility and you want me there I can be there. I am a huge advocate for my clients and I have a zero tolerance policy for maltreatment or neglect. I also will not allow anyone to exploit or abuse a client without reporting it to the proper authorities. I have advanced training in Alzheimer's and dimentia as well as Occupational Therapy degree holder as of December 2019 I am currently taking on new clients.
