I am a very patient ,understanding , loving and caring person. The reason that i become a caregiver, becausel of grand mother that I love so much I used to take care of her. Being a caregiver , it is a blessing therefore, is the only way that I can show my love by helping those in need.

I'm a 34 yr old wife and mother of two boys.Dependable and hard working love to help others.My hope is to provide exceptipnal care to your loved ones.My desire is to go back to school and complete my nursing degree. In doing so I can utilize my experience as well as demonstrating empathy for my patients and clients where they can feel well cared for.

What makes me a great caregiver is my compassion. I have made caregiving a priority of mine since I graduated from college with a degree in Journalism from the University of Florida. Immediately I gained a job taking care of a elderly woman and after her it just stuck. She claimed that I saved her life three times and the feeling of that took over me and changed my perspective of the path i wanted to take in life. It went from the News industry to the medical industry really fast and I cant be more happier. I wish to open my own nursing home one day and create a space for the seniors that they can really enjoy, with compassionate, loving nurses.

As a family caregiver, you face many new responsibilities. I like to support, and overcome challenges, and make caregiving more rewarding for both me and the person I'm caring for. I am an out going person and a social butterfly !

I hold an associate's degree in Nursing and CPR certification. I have nine years of experience with senior care and clients across the health spectrum. My experience includes hip replacement recovery, strokes, high blood pressure, hospital sitting, ostomy care, surgery recovery, cancer, wound care, Alzheimer's, dialysis, etc. I also provide transportation, ambulation, light housekeeping, medication refill, outings, exercise, and much more. I am patient, energetic, neat, and hard-working. I treat each client as a member of my family. I am warm, sweet, friendly, caring and have loads of compassion. My goal is to help others and be there for them in every possible way. My neighbor inspired me, as he is a disabled veteran with no means of helping himself. I spent many days with him per week. Helping someone in need, being there for them has made me feel very fulfilled. I have completed all state requirements to become a PCT within a short period of time. Top of the class. All for the sake of learning to properly care for people. I have worked with people all of my life. From newborns to elderly. I am very personable, friendly, warm, and very passionate about helping the elderly. I spend a lot of time volunteering at the VA nursing home and volunteer in the neighborhood for which I live in (it is a 55 plus community). I have seen many CNA's and other healthcare professionals not doing the right thing, so I wanted to make a difference where and when I can. I call it "Compassion care". However, the majority of my care-giving experience have been in home care. There is a unique advantage to caring for an individual in the comfort of his/her home. I was a former Marine of 9yrs of active service. Then went into the Home health care field for individuals with intellectual disabilities, which I am passionate about as I have a family member with intellectual disabilities. Its is very rewarding to me to see how I am able just brighten an make there life alittle easier for individuals who has trouble caring for themselves.
