I am a Licensed Practical Nurse and have worked for clients who've had Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, Dementia, etc. I am seeking a position to utalize my extensive knowledge and successful experience. I will administer hygiene, supervise function following patient care plan, adhere to nutritional guideline to patient restricted diets, and coordinate activities of interest to client. I will provide a safe and accommodating environment, and effectively manage daily independent living.

I am a very patient ,understanding , loving and caring person. The reason that i become a caregiver, becausel of grand mother that I love so much I used to take care of her. Being a caregiver , it is a blessing therefore, is the only way that I can show my love by helping those in need.

What makes me a great caregiver is my compassion. I have made caregiving a priority of mine since I graduated from college with a degree in Journalism from the University of Florida. Immediately I gained a job taking care of a elderly woman and after her it just stuck. She claimed that I saved her life three times and the feeling of that took over me and changed my perspective of the path i wanted to take in life. It went from the News industry to the medical industry really fast and I cant be more happier. I wish to open my own nursing home one day and create a space for the seniors that they can really enjoy, with compassionate, loving nurses.

I hold an associate's degree in Nursing and CPR certification. I have nine years of experience with senior care and clients across the health spectrum. My neighbor inspired me, as he is a disabled veteran with no means of helping himself. I spent many days with him per week. I spend a lot of time volunteering at the VA nursing home and volunteer in the neighborhood for which I live in (it is a 55 plus community). I took care of my grandmother she reached ninty-nine and then passed away and I'm currently taking care of my elderly father who is seventy five. Also I am a mother of four.Currently I'm working at Brightstar Pembroke Registry .

As a caregiver base on my experiences I develop my skills over time to become great. The quality of work that I provide to my clients is exceptional, they come first.
