I'm a very patient and caring person that enjoys being around others. Becoming a caregiver has always been something that I've looked into since I enjoy helping people. What attracted me to becoming a caregiver is that it brings me joy because the job entails helping other people which is what I enjoy. Something else that attracted me to this job is that my significant other is a nurse and has told me how amazing it is working with elderly people. My proudest personal achievement was finishing my first 60 hours of college in my first year of schooling.

Experienced caregiver to elderly residents of assisted living and memory care communities such as dementia and Alzheimer's. I can provide in home care and assistance for seniors and disabled adults. I am currently certified in First Aid and CPR and can provide full assistance in meal times, bathing, cooking, cleaning and even companionship. Worked in the medical field for over 7 years. I am a mother of 3 who loves to read and work with patients on and off duty. I enjoy helping others when they need it most or just to have someone by their side.

I took care of my Grandfather for many years -he had Parkinson's disease and was confined to a scooter the last 5 years of his life. He also suffered from Alzheimer's so I have extensive history with that. I worked at a doctors office as a medical assistant for seven years. I Performed all the duties of a nurse. My favorite part of the job was getting to know the patients and hearing their stories. I believe older people have a lot of wisdom to share with the younger generations and I'm always eager to listen and absorb their knowledge. I made the decision a year and a half ago to start college again. It's giving me a sense of purpose and given me the confidence that I can achieve anything that I want to. I enjoy playing board games, taking walks, playing cards, going to the beach at sunset and spending time with my dogs. I've always been drawn to older people and I feel like I would make a perfect caregiver. I look forward to getting to know you!!!

I have been living in Port Charlotte since Hurricane Charley. Finished my senior year of high school at PCHS, went on to Edison College where I got my AA, met my college sweet heart. Have been married for 5 years. I am currently studying for my nursing boards, work as needed at Bayfront PC as a CNA. I love caring for others.

I enjoy caring for disabled people of all ages. I like to find ways to help my clients to have as much Independence as possible. Inbtodays world with all the available technology there are so many things that people can do even if they are bed bound. I have also found that fresh eyes can come up with a simple way to make a daily task easier for my clients, so when I fish meet someone and while going about the day to day tasks with them I look for simple ways to make them safer, and to make each activity something that gives them more independence if possible and if not then I simply lookbfornways to give my clients dignity and make the daily tasks as easy on them as possible. I enjoy finding activities that my clients enjoy playing cards, watching their shows on television, singing and listening to music, anything that brings them joy and reminds them of the things they personally enjoy in life, these things I believe are vital to ones wellbeing.
