I am a energetic, pleasant and committed type Caregiver. Having to take care of a family member for three years is what attracted me to want to become a Caregiver. The one thing that I enjoy most about caregiver is knowing that at the end of the day I have made a difference in someone life, whether it big or small. My most proud of personal achievement is when all my knowledge and expertise smooth out unexpected situations.

I've been gifted by God with many skills, but I must say caring for seniors is one of the most rewarding gifts! This is something I've done most of my life, so it's like second nature to breathing for me. I'm now realizing why the satisfaction of caring for others is so great for me. It's because I've been called to be a caregiver! This became very clear to me over six years ago when I had to care for my terminally ill step-father who was diagnosed with cancer. When we finally had to transfer him into hospice care it was like a lightbulb went off in my head & heart. Soon after the passing of my father I signed up for training to care for the sick and disabled in our community. I received my certification, and volunteered for Hospice Of The Comforter in Orlando, Florida for a couple of months. Since then, I made it my mission even the more to serve our seniors and their families while they're still living at home. I enjoy serving our senior community as well as those who are disabled in some way. It brings joy and gratification to my heart to know that I'm able to help create a better quality of life for them, and for their family members as well. I'm so proud that I finally listened to my inner spirit to move forward in the true calling on my life. This includes starting my own Home Care business, and incorporate this into my Real Estate career by ultimately purchasing several RAL homes around Florida and abroad. Thank you Lord!

I have over 10 years of experience as a Supervisor/Caregiver. I previously supervised 4 group homes the housed clients that have intellectual disabilities, and those with dementia. I enjoy and have a great passion for helping others, and love the job that I do. I currently have been caring for my grandfather for over 10 years that currently suffers from dementia.

Personal achievement I had a client in his 90s and he outlive all of his relatives and friends. He was a hospice patient and all he wanted to do was to go to Disney world one last time. The Nurse and I was able to get permission from the Facility to accompany him to Disney world in Orlando, 3 days later he passed away.

I became a medical assistant first then started taking care of my father. I like being a caregiver because of the relationship you build. i love helping people. I am a mom of a 10 year old, I am also a local realtor.

I enjoy providing Professional Caregiving in my community, I care a lot about people especially our seniors and veterans. I've just recently moved to Texas from California. In which I had been a caregiver for 11 years. I worked with memory care as well as assisted living. My jobs required passing/setting up meds, assisting them with showers, taking vitals, and assisting in their daily life skills. I loved it and would like to continue it here.
