I have cared for many people in the last eighteen years and have supplemented my care knowledge with a formal education to better serve and understand the wide-variety of people that seek my services. I am currently taking an INELDA certification and will be a certified death doula by summer 2021.

I have decades of experience as a caregiver taking care of some of the most vulnerable and debilitated members of our community, treating people as good as I would treat my own family. The care I provided for my late husband and mother has truly inspired me and enhanced my passion for taking care of those who are incapable of taking care of themselves.

I use to go to work with my Grandmother when she was a caregiver. We would go to ALFs or people's homes and she would cook and ensure their basic needs were met. I am seeking little side jobs where I can help the elderly in need of care. I currently work with disabled Veterans at the VA. I assist Veterans with ADLs and restorative therapies in hopes to help them reach their highest level of independence with ADLs as possible. I took nursing in college, and have over a hundred classroom hours regarding patient care. I will provide my own equipment upon request, free of charge, for basic healthcare monitoring. Free check of blood pressure, heart rate, and vitals with every appointment. I am BLS, CPR, and AED certified. My certifications are current, and were renewed in 2021. I am National CPR Foundation certified. I currently have completed college courses pertaining to the medical field, such as medical terminology for health professionals, anatomy and physiology, ethics in nursing, sociology, psychology, development across the lifespan, nutrition, and drug abuse for health professionals. Being able to make a difference in the lives of others is something that I have always been passionate about. The love of caring for others prompted me to seek out additional education in which I am currently enrolled as a nursing student at FAU. I am a mother of four and a retired 4x surrogate. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor's of Science in Nursing at USF. In addition to caring for children including those with special needs, I also cared for my grandparents in the final years of their lives. I have experience with post open-heart surgery care, diabetic testing and administering insulin and hospice care for those with cancer. I am about to renew my CPR certification.
