I believe what makes me a great caregiver is my heart. I genuinely love helping and taking care of people. I am a Medical Assistant going to school to become a registered nurse. I am passionate and hardworking. I love working in an environment where I can connect with people and build relationships.

Why I became a caregiver, at the age of 16 I had to take care of my dying mother of bone cancer. I took care of my mom for a full year before she was called to glory. That let me know my job was taking care of others. I really love caring for people. I guess me having to care for my mom and I did such a good job of considering, I really wasn't thinking about she was about to leave me, I just wanted her to be comfortable in her last days. Especially not having to worry about me. So I didn't give her any indications of my feeling at the time. I'm a wife and a mother of four. Three of my own and a stepdaughter. Grandmother of ten. I love cooking, especially holiday cooking. Keeping a clean house. I love learning new things, I sew, I'm a Master Cosmetologist, Certified Nursing Assistant, Licensed Childcare Provider, Licensed Bartender and I recently graduated Sanford Brown College for Medical Assistant.

I'm a people person who gets along with everybody. I'm loyal, dependable, understanding, trustworthy, and very patient. I genuinely care about everyone, and treat people as though their my own flesh and blood, or better yet how I would like to be treated.

I love taking care of the elderly i enjoy putting a smile on the face my personal achievement is knowing that i have done my job for that day is i see that smile on that person face and to here that are you coming back tomorrow. I have been in this field of work since 96, i have worked in retirement home as dietary prep,I've worked in assited living home as a care manager,lead med tech and as reminiscences coordinator,I've also.have done private care cases where i go to clients home and do private care.

I have over 3 years as a caregiver, I love People, I do any job that I take on 100%. I treat people like I would want to be treated, If given the chance I could show you what I could do. I am a hard worker, dependable, responsible, and love being in the health care field.

I became a caregiver because I love helping and caring for people that can't totally care fir themselves. I've always been a caring person. I work at a residential home and I've gotten attached to the clients and I like that I've gotten them to trust and like me. I've been in the caregiving field for almost 3yrs. I just finished Nursing Assistant School and I go to get state certified on September 9th. I also am a Certified MA and I have an Associates degreein Allied Health and am considering going back to school to further my education in nursing.

I have been taking care of people my entire life. My grandmother turned ill as I entered Jr. High school and I learned how to do for her what she could not do for herself. I love the feeling of helping people even if it's a small thing. I'm a caring loving understanding person. Helping my grandmother in her final months was the most important thing I did besides having my own children. It taught me responsibilities. It takes a loving person to take care of another human being. I have 4 children of my own. My oldest two are going to the Air Force after graduating from high school within the next few years and my youngest two are in Jr. High school. I have been in the medical field all my life. From working at a nursing home to working in surgery at the hospital. I believe this was my calling to be a caregiver.
