Hello! My name is Tytreana Stephens I have been a caregiver for about a year . I took a break because of my kids but my passion for caregiving is still strong . I became a caregiver after looking after my grandmother at a young age every since then I have been inlove with caring for the elderly .

What I enjoy about being a caregiver is getting to know my patients. It's better to want to understand them & how they're doing in their everyday lives. I love to help my patients, I don't mind at all. It's always good to see them smile & comfortable around you. To know they trust you is great.

I recently was taking care of my grandmother who was independent living on her at the age of 94. I would always take her grocery shopping, doctor appointments and out for lunch for 2 yrs every week. She recently passed away and now I have the feeling of being there for other's who needs a great companion, to whom they can talk to as long as they need and someone who can care for them. The main thing I enjoy about being caregiver, are the conversations that I have with my patients. We talk about my life and there's, and what all has changed in such a short period of time. The personal achievement I'm proud of is getting into the medical assistant program after attempting 3 tries with my one core class that was holding me back.

Hello, My name is Jessica and I've been an LPN for 4 almost 5years. What made me become a nurse, is when my grandmother had a stroke which caused her to walk and talk all over again. I gained interest in learning how to make the recovery possible and would help her with bathing and other needs that I could assist with. From that point, my mind was set into becoming a nursing once I grew up and finished school. I made that possible in 2013, after graduating I've been working with geriatrics since I've become a nurse. I love working with the elderly, and helping those in need of regaining their physical abilities. My most honorable achievement is becoming a successful nurse and a mother of 3 handsome boys, which is my world. I am in process of going back to school to gain my Associates in RN.

I have been a caregiver for over 18 yrs and I love what I do. I Love seeing smiles on the faces of my clients. I also like the fact that I am able to help and attend to their needs.

Hello my name is Jason Powers I was recently involved in a car accident and I have limited mobility in my left arm I was laid off of work. I'm currently seeking non labor intensive work until I can pass a work physical after the beginning of the year. I can help clean and fix things around the house go shopping for you and I am strong enough to help you in and out of bed on and off the toilet ( so long as you weigh less than 200lbs) I can cook, I have my own transportation (Lexus it's comfortable if you have to go somewhere) I helped my father in his final years and after multiple surgeries with massaging scar tissue.
